  • @oddSTAR - I want to get the @Spidericemidas presets in there eventually, too

  • AudioKit VHS
    King of Digital
    Digitalism
    And absolutely not least…. WoodSynth

A good synth to have gotten last week would have been Kaspar @4.99

VHS I believe is still 4.99 and if you like KODigital or Digitalism, you might fancy VHS****

  • Lol @ejacul337 i have all but Woodsynth

  • I will echo Twin3. Also, tomofon came out in 2023, it’s a wonderful synth.

  • I bought a lot in 23-24, but the only ones that have stayed in steady rotation are:

    Megalit
    Tera Pro
    Xinematix
    WaveCloud

Gems, every one of them. 💕

Been away for a while and boy this has become a dead place. Last synth I bought was probably Twin 3. It’s been very interesting watching the boom, indie golden age, audio units opening the floodgates for major desktop ports, oversaturation, and I guess now here we are at the end game: the wasteland of stagnation.

With my own eyes I saw the Sibyl at Cumae hanging in a bottle and, when the attendants asked her what she wanted, she replied, "I want to die."

    I came, I saw, I festered.

I've heard things you people wouldn't believe. Audiokit Synth One on fire on the piano roll of Logic Pro. I heard Drambo stutter in the dark through the Nembrini Noise Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

  • The new OB-xD AUv3
    Discovery

Only until the demand grows, which yes takes time, but in my opinion, it will, when that is and by how much is a whole separate story.

    Hahaha. Too funny 😂

    And welcome back, Oaty.

  • Searched buzz one and loopy and got this thread.

  • Definitely Hilda and BLEASS Alpha

  • Hilda and Microwave get my votes <3

Microwave is pretty special. What a rich sounding synth.

  • Moog Mariana … Softer sounds are also possible….

  • Hilda & Microwave.

  • Grabbed Microwave on sale and I’m definitely enjoying it. Wish it was universal but other then that great app.

  • Thump One is nice.

  • It’s getting:

    1. More and more difficult to remember what are new apps and what are not for myself.
    2. To actually decide what’s great when surrounded by such wonderful apps - I often think WOW when I look at the wonders that are now on my iPad!
    3. Like every month is just a wonderland of goodies that I can buy for a little bit of money (that over the years has added up to an awful lot of money!)

So, I’m just going to choose one to mention: Microwave - simply because I used to own a Waldorf XTK and have a fondness for the sound :)

  • I need to dig into Microwave and Atoms more to be honest. The most unique (in my personal opinion, ymmv) synths to release this year on iOS. Afaik, there's nothing quite like Atoms and Microwave.

  • For me it could have been Quanta 2 if it didn't crash every 5 minutes :#

  • Controversial choice: VAPolyWest.

  • Synthmaster 3 when it is finally released.

Probably won't apply to a thread with "2023-2024" in the title, but who knows? Maybe a holiday miracle will happen and it'll be released with an intro price sale before the new year.

An Easel on iOS. Too bad about the gui.

I really need to hear your perspective. It's my least favorite and I want to love it. I expected GFunk / Bootsie Collin's tones, but nope. Love VAPolyFM tho. It's so lush...
