I would be glad to have Cakewalks Z3ta+ back in business!
Sure, we have so many synths today that covers everything , but, I loved Z3ta+ the first years we could run it without any hassle...
I know that if I rewind the date in my Apple devices, I can still run this beauty, but, is it worth the struggle?
Tinpan Rhythm
Midi link sync would be my vote
Improvox. Hexaphone. Ssssynth. Alchemy Synth Mobile Studio. Tachyon.
Zed.
Strokemachine
Alchemy.
Roli Noise, still some of the best MPE sounds available imho…
It is still on the appstore tho! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/noise/id1011132019
I’m not sure the additional sound packs are available @Gavinski … just going off what other people have said… I hope I’m wrong though 😊
Earhoof
Ah ok!
oval synth
iSEM should be back, I own it, it has a great sound and it deserves to be bought and enjoyed.
Thor!
Yep, just came here to say that.
They should bring back Rebirth too.
+1
@Slush I didn’t even know they’d removed, why would that be do you think, it was fine?
Doug, I don’t know, it’s such an amazing thing. It’s an oldie but like Sunrizer it still has so much to offer. Nave is gone too.
Midi Mind from Dyslexia Software. The UI was nothing special but it could do some amazing stuff:
If these apps were worth the time of the developers to update, they'd have kept them current. Better to find alternatives.
Lemur, Stroke Machine, thor, Midi Link Sync, Zmors Modular.
All were powerful enough to be worth keeping available, but who knows if paying the $100 subscription fee to Apple each year plus taking care of the ever so popular changes in the iOS SDK without boosting sales in any way were reasons to let them drop off the Appstore.
I wrote in another thread some days ago - I was dreaming that Reason Studios (Propellerheads) was rerelease Thor Polyphonic Synthesizer as AUv3…
But, probably not happened…
Non of the Reason Studios apps on Appstore today have been getting some love for more than three years…
I like it so much, I tried to buy it, but Bandlab refuses to sell it.
Yeah😭Zed
Flux:FX
Finally we have apps that replace it but damn it was good in the day.
It sounds so good. I don’t care about the ‘it will become cool again one day’ UI design.
Some unique sounds for sure. Zed’s dead…
I’m still using the PPG synths but they are on their last legs too since Plugin Alliance acquired the rights.
