Knowing how much this song means to Jankun and how much passion is invested in its making, I'm speechless. Bravo! 🤩

Regarding John's remix, the best I can explain is that the original feels more on the psychological side of the chemicals, while the remix is more on the industrial side of the chemicals.

Thank you for your indefectible presence Goran! Interesting analysis! Do you mean @klownshed is running an industrial plant while I am running a psychiatric ward?

More like passion vs. rhythmic. Madness is on both sides, in the criminal minds of those that produce content and those that consume.

The lunatics have taken over the asylum ;)

Might be my own predilections talkin but this thread is cerebrally humorous. (“Gone far beyond” the good music contained within …see man?

That’s what music is supposed to do - inspire and transcend. Nothing happens in a vacuum

    “Metamusic”

[im coining that term - yall heard it here first folks ]

You coined Metamusic? Wasn't it Iannis Xenakis ?

  • Idk…i just thought of it while typing - but if that dude said it first then he gets coinage

    Over the cuckoo's nest?

  • Thanks for producing some “Chemicals” that won’t get me into too much trouble. I’ve been enjoying both versions throughout the week.

Coming from the best trip hop producer on this forum, this made my week. Thank you for the nice vibe in an otherwise shitty week...

  • Enjoyed both versions very much. For whatever reason, this conjured up great old memories of Led Zeppelin’s classic Nobody’s Fault But Mine from Presence. This sounds like it was fun to do. That’s the whole point of this. Great work gents!

  • Both great. I miss when you could buy an E.P. CD remix of a song with like 6 takes and every mix was so different, it was like a brand new album!!

Thank you for listening! It was indeed great fun !
Always been a huge fan of Blind Willie Johnson's music. Led Zeppelin's cover of Nobody's Fault But Mine is great too!

Chiming in very late to the party here also…

Also got a strong Zeppelin vibe from the original, which I loved. Then the remix took it to a whole new level, which I also loved.

“Remixes” could be a whole new collaborative section on this site.

Thank you for listening! Can't deny I have been listening to Led Zeppelin, especially in my formative years!
I agree about the "Remixes" collaborative section.

Vocals hit the spot. Loved the ending. Can see room for a little more added in the middle, but that's probably where the remix comes in, so will listen to that later. Thanks for sharing.
