iOS/desktop integration
Could someone please remind me of the app pair that implements close integration between iOS AUs and desktop DAWs (or VSTs)? I’ve seen it mentioned a few times but my brain is farting. “Side deck” or something like that.

@garden.
The app is called Duo and the VST called SideRack both from Novo Notes. It’s currently on sale.

SideRack is the VST side of the pair. Got it. Thanks!
Not what you were asking but if you are in the market for an audio interface, this connects audio and midi from any 2 devices eg Mac/Pc/tablet/iPad to work together and also link up to 8 midi controllers. Might be very useful for some workflows.

Huh. Interesting and noted, thanks.
The Lewitt Connect 6 is has some of the capabilities that the iConnectivity 4c at a somewhat lower price point.

Has anyone tested Duo/SideRack? We've been here before with what were once great solutions that failed because of lack of adoption. I did a search for Novo Notes and Duo/Siderack and couldn't find any threads here on the forum with any valuable information.
This thread doesn't have what you need?

Thanks Wim, I did first do a search, honest gov!
yeh, search is a bit whack since the forum name change. It seems to be slowly getting better as the web crawlers are catching up. At least I hope so.
What is the best option if I want you also use eg IAA apps out to Ableton on my MacBook?
iDAM. Here's one article that may serve as a starting point if you're not already familiar with iDAM.

There are other ways, but that's the cheapest and easiest.
You can't use SideRack and iDAM together at the same time though.
Currently Mac only, but there are plans to support Windows in the future.
