  • Wow. Nice - I have so many delays, but this one is also intriguing. I'm hemorrhaging money right now with Black Friday.

  • Good god, this looks great! :) Hope to get it Friday or Saturday.

    This looks ace.
Good looking out! Off to the store.

  • Tempting. Was just thinking of getting Modnetic. Now I’m debating. But still leaning towards Modnetic. Is there something this Comeback Kid has that would make it the better option? I see it has ducking, which Mod doesn’t... now that I’ve typed this, I’m still thinking Modnetic but I’m sure this one will be cool too

Yeah I’m strongly considering getting it…I’ve gotten most of the Audiothing apps this weekend and was gonna get the remainders but this might take precedence lol

I'll say this much mate. I don't have all AudioThings' apps, but I'm a Baby Audio completionist. 😂 I wonder if @tristan can tell is how long the intro pricing lasts.

  • Worth it, I use the desktop version often 🙌

  • Anyone who uses desktop should try out their Baby Comeback plugin, it’s part of their freebies you get for signing up for their mailing list (used the hide my email function from iCloud)

It’s a stripped down version but it’s pretty cool!

Yeah I have every baby audio release except for transit…. I had to get most of the Hainbach related apps cause the wife and kids watch his videos obsessively; helps that two of them are in my band xD . And although my son is only two he’s learning how to play !

Not sure if I’m gonna get Fluss though as since it doesn’t take midi in my use might be limited

Fluss is great in AUM for experimental "out there" audio projects. But in Garageband I don't think it'd suit you mate. It's more for live performance. :)

  • First impression. I’m on a small teli, and it doesn’t matter that i cannot read the words on the smaller knobs or switches, because i can clearly hear how it’s affecting the signal.
The different knob groupings ARE legible, ie Output, Stereo, Shaper, ect. This was enough to allow me to quickly dial in the sound, The ducker is great for not having to faff with routing, and i like the Shaper. It allows you to soften the delay with more than just the filters using the attack and decay. Or you can do the inverse and make the tail bite back. I like this delay as a phone user! It’s the simplest way to use more than just a simple delay that i have.

It does take MIDI in, turns it into a three voice polyphonic mode.

I have Modnetic, it has a lot of flavor under the hood, besides delay option (and a delay reverse!) also lots of reverb types and a flanger/phaser/chorus.

Oh yeah, cheers guys, so many delays it's hard to keep track! Any others?

Timeless 3 has ducking sliders in some of the presets, and it's pretty easy to add one since you can assign envelope followers to the incoming signal or sidechain.
But it's not part of the main interface and readily available when starting on a preset from zero.

Edit: I see that OtherDesertCities also has an envelope follower, that can take sidechain input, and can be assigned to the mix knob.

Nice. The other option is to use FAC Envolver or similar to make any delay duckable.

    Lunar Lander has a ducky.

  • I'm trying to find an excuse to buy Comeback after checking quite long list with my purchased delays: BandDelay, Dubstation2, K7D, Modley, OtherDesertCities, RE1, TfxEcho, Yukawa.

That is not long lol. I did an iOS Part 1 delay comparison vid on my channel years ago. I think I covered 20+ delays and that was just part 1 lol. Even at that time, there were about another 20 delays available. But yeah, what you've got already covers a lot

Isn't Crystalline a reverb? (I know a reverb is basically a type of delay, but the effect is different than what we've come to know as a delay effect afaik.)
