Awakening of … and Dawn of the small creatures - LP orchestral soundtracks
Part 6 and 7 (the finale) of my “small creatures” project.
This is the final score, I’ll let it rest a couple day because of ear fatigue, then I will make the final adjustments, hopefully not much, before the release.
Made in Logic Pro, each section is made of layers of spitfire orchestra, Logic instruments, and my own samples.
I know the titles don’t really make sense, I made these pieces for a very short and quite childish/candid story. The titles are placeholders only based on the summary of each part of that story. I will work on that.
Edit: the playlist with the final scores:

I skimmed through for now and will give a proper listen later on. But so far from what I've heard, these scores are stunning. Well done.
@jwmmakerofmusic thank you
You're welcome. I listened to the whole album earlier, and it partially inspired me to want to dive back into Ambient oddly enough. Or at least try more cinematic, non-beat-based music (or at least produce binaural beats rather than drum beats). ☺️
@jwmmakerofmusic working on various genres and atmosphere is always great. Ambient + cinematic = atmosphere.
Binaural beats sound like a fascinating direction I never took. Have you explored any particular techniques or inspirations for that yet?
Haven't explored yet, but I made a thread here to find out more. 😉

I want to produce the binaural beat and then layer some soft Ambient on top. Take things to a different level.
I’m curious to ear what will come out of that.
You know what? Me too, lol. I wonder what'll happen exactly, but it'll be interesting for sure.
Just listened to the first one. I guess that’s part 6. Listened to it a few times. You have a real talent for arranging for an orchestra. At 3:15 I heard what I thought was a good candidate for a strong, simple repeating melody. Just seven or eight notes, but as I rewound a few times, it seemed to fit throughout the entire piece. I like hearing a good melody at the start. When it comes back later I think… yeah, I know this song.
Edit - I’m probably not a good source for musical advice. Before dinner, me and my wife were watching Calamity Jane with Doris Day, and loving it. It made me cry. After dinner I listened to Jesus Built My Hotrod. Ding a ding dang, my dang a long ling long.
@thank you for listening @Paulieworld .
The Ab Eb Db Ab Ab Db B Bb Ab motif you're earing is indeed the theme / melody that I tried to make prominent in part 6. It is a major variation that I use in part 7: C D E A C D E C G
You are at least as good a source of musical advice as anyone for that matter. Ministry is just a bit too noisy for me ;-) but they don't lack energy for sure.
Lovely theme in part 7. Very stirring 👌
Thank you @GeoTony
Seems the simplest things work better sometimes
