@MrSmileZ Holy shit that's an expensive synth, but it looks fun too. I'd like a go with it myself. Ah well, time to live vicariously through Youtube videos and have some fun with Microwave instead.

@jonmoore Twin3 is slowly but surely becoming my "bread and butter" synth outside of Obsidian in Nanostudio 2 (I plan to switch over to Cubasis 3, at least for a couple of tracks). It's really a semi-modular powerhouse, perfect for drones and other such things. Its built-in effects are really decent, and you can do so much with it. Is it as powerful as Drambo/miRack as an instrument plugin? Not really. But is it easier to grok? Sure is (at least for me personally once I saw Dan Worrall's video about it).

Just out of curiosity Jon, which synth on iOS is your favourite to use? :)

Iridium is likely the most powerful hardware synth out there. It’s also a multi sampler. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves powerful synthesis and doesn’t get hung up on analog vs digital nonsense. Just the Kernel engine is mind blowing.

Yeah, I'm not one to get hung up on analog vs digital thankfully. When I get a synth app or a new synth, it's more for what it can do differently than the others, whether it sounds different, or behaves different, or any combination therein.

Iridium is quite expensive, just do your research if you decide to get one. It may be the only synth you ever need. I sold off a lot of hardware since I bought it. To compare, the iOS synth Nave is a SMALL part of what it can do…

Right now my synth lineup is quite new and different.

    Hardware:
Dreadbox Typhon, Dreadbox Artemis (purchased but awaiting), Waldorf Iridium Desktop, Osmose, and Minifreak. I feel that these cover the bases I need covered for my use case.

Hardware that has sold or still for sale:
Novation Peak, Arturia Microfreak, Behringer Deepmind, ASM Hydrasynth, Roland Fantom 6…all decommissioned from my studio.

I am also selling my Akai Force and just going with my MPC X SE…as the Force is just sitting there these days
