What are you waiting for to finish off this year?

I know I really shouldn't, but I keep looking each day here and on Facebook for something specific. I'm hoping against hope to see a few apps released before the end of 2024:

  • Baby Audio Transit 2
  • Unfiltered Audio Battalion
  • Cem Olcay's Scratchbud (just announced - and probably coming shortly)

Are you waiting for something?

Comments

  • Groove Rider II. However, I'm starting to get into Drambo for my Ambient needs. I may build something in Cubasis 3 meanwhile just to scratch the Ambient itch and make use of Transit 1.

    Battalion

    DPP (fixed w auv3)

    Playbeat 4

    Rock DM (auv3)

Only waiting for Groove-Rider 2, Battalion and ScratchBud right now <3

  • Groove rider 2 should be out like in a couple of days

(… I have that on no authority whatsoever )

  • Wasn’t waiting for anything other than Batallion- but now after seeing playbeat4 video I’m super excited for that. And maybe Grooverider 2 might snag my interest

Perfect season for ambient. Please share if you make it.

I'm the same as you -- super soft spot for drum apps. (just bought Soft Drummer today despite telling myself not to haha).
Battalion is going to be a fun deep dive.

    Shameless plug here. 😅

Dark Ambient in this case. Wanted to make something like Svetlovska would make. Although I'm interested in making all sorts of Ambient, either in Drambo, in Cubasis 3, in Groove Rider, in NS2, in...whatever catches my interest in the moment.

  • I can't believe I'm the first to say it but... Loopy Pro midi update. With all the new pinned threads recently (...two...) I've been hoping for one last one! And I'm checking every 4min just to make sure I don't miss it

Also, Scratch Bud, Pro-Q 4 (yeah, I know it's a good bit off yet for iOS) and Transit 2 (re-read the parenthetical statement for pro-q 4 lol)

    This too! ☝️

  • Riffler midi input and desktop app.

  • Battalion, pretty sure it’ll be all I need to complete my “research” into making some ryoji ikeda style stuff

  • Batallion, and the new Playbeat 4 has piqued my interest, since I only have v1. Though really, I have more than enough drum apps…

  • Million + 1 thing that @giku_beepstreet has on the ‘to do list’ in Drambo.

The app is turning out to be a masterpiece that goes very well with Loopy Masterpiece.

Hardware integration with midi feedback seems to be the next big thing. Keep your launchpads at the ready!

Oh yes yes! Definite +1 on the Drambo update

Not that I'll be able to contribute necessarily, but I can't wait to see (first from the inevitable thread that blows up here, then patchstorage) what nuttiness (brilliance) users come up with!

    I'm already a sucker for Prism's integration

And if I DO contribute, I can't wait to pepper with beginner questions that can probably be answered by rtfm!

(Not like I've done that a handful of times already with other things... Maybe I've learned my lesson!

    Probably not!)

  • Battalion and ScratchBud

  • I’d love to come here one day and find that SampleTank went AU.

Also, would love to see UVI Percussion Factory ported to iOS.

  • I've been waiting to enjoy the delights of Loopy Pro when it gets the midi update :)

  • Oh shit. I almost forgot, but I also am looking forward to Synthmaster 3! 😂

Transit 2 is probably the one app I'm waiting for that will actually fit wonderfully into my workflow.
Kinda waiting on battalion too, but 2024 was already the year of the drums on ios.

Same. I have 8 collaboration songs that would really benefit from Transit 2. It's a World/Dub style group project, and instead of wrestling with multiple plugins, Transit 2 should be able to pull off some sweet dub effects at key intervals. That's my hope, anyways.

    Ooops wrong thread.

Battalions seems cool. Any idea if it’s being worked on for iOS?

It looks really cool. Batallion is planned for release on iOS soon if this is accurate (posted 2 weeks ago):

  • I mean we have 3 days left in the year so I mean that would be really cool if it was this Tuesday

Would make sense as it’s the 31

    Hmmmm

    So battalion enters the arena

2024 WAS the year of drum machines

Me and someone else called it!!

I would love that! And reading Cem Olcay's post on the other thread - Scratchbud should be available either tomorrow or Monday! Good news!
