If you like early Moog synths, it’s sort of like that, but polyphonic. It’s quite good.
I'm curious how much all the marketing lingo in the Trooper app description about analog sound is really noticeable in the sound. I find that I rarely use Yonac synths because there's just that "je ne sais quoi" (to borrow a phrase from the app description) digital edge to them that I can't put my finger on but just don't like.
I wonder if this one would overcome my subconscious dislike of those synths.

Anyone tried this yet, i downloaded it since its a free AU fx from a good developer, but not sure what it does…
I know exactly what you mean…it’s a metallic sound to everything. Trooper and Magellan 2 are the only synths I’ve never been able to make decent presets for (at least the latter has some really good ones already )
Is there still a way to get it free on desktop or was that just last year?
No I don’t think so but you can have a free trial on desktop
I added it as an effect to Electronic and there was a subtle loudness change when I “ dragged the egg” but it was not what I expected from the dev (performance wise)
