I noticed with Perfect Pitch that the timing is off when using an external interface, at least in the case of my Babyface Pro. I contacted the developer, and they indicated it's intended use is with the local device speaker and mic. That's not ideal my case, but may be fine for others. Just mentioning in case anyone intends to use it like me as part of a regular setup that has an external interface, though perhaps other interfaces won't experience the same issue I did.

By timing off in my case I mean that the sound of notes playing doesn't line up with the vertical bar where the notes hit, so it constantly messes me up in knowing when to sing notes. To get a 'good score', I have to sing ahead of the notes being played to match when the notes pass the vertical bar, which is not fun. While the score isn't the point for me, it also really doesn't help me know if I'm singing well due to this. It's a hassle to remove or disconnect my iPad from the Babyface Pro, so unfortunately I've just needed to set it aside for now while looking for alternative options.
