Not sure if this was already posted (the nonmusic stuff kinda gets mashed together) but Visual Sandbox Simulator got released a few days ago. It’s free; had some fun with it last night. Pretty neat!

Dev has other music visualizers that have IAP, but this appears to have none
It is free. You only need to sign up once, create account, for all three apps you tap on the seven day trial then right after that. You can unlock lifetime.
It does say seven day at first, but once you tap on it, you then into the app and can unlock the lifetime

I went back and found my instructions.
For Affinity - Create account or sign in, email verification, mine said it didn’t work but I went back to app and signed in using the email and PW and it worked. Take 7 day free account, Then once app opens tap account at bottom left, then tap on BUY under my license, which then takes you through the IAP process, the confirm registration
Also the email is to create an account that works across all three apps, and confirms your lifetime registration.

Holy crap- borderlands for 6.99 is a Banger of a deal.
It's a beast! If you like granular, and instruments which take full advantage of the touch screen, and if that wasn't enough, which also act as a powerful live audio processing effect, this is a great bargain!

Not comparable at all. GRFX is a very good AUv3 effects for your synths and instruments, Borderlands is not AUv3 and it's more like a playground to explore granular synthesis. Didn't really click with me but it's a great app. It is not abandoned at all, the dev is fairly active on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/borderlands_granular/
Would highly recommend watching videos on each before making up your mind, you'd want to see and hear them in action, they're very different

Yes, thanks! I’ve used Poly for keys, and Melody for basslines in a track, and they work well together. Hadn’t looked at Kebarp, I’m guessing I’ll end up getting all of these eventually!

I reckon there’s a high chance you would.
It does have a unique workflow which js quite a different workflow to Tardigrain, which I think is great too, but if you like granular as a sound processing and exploration tool then Borderlands is right up there as one of the best. Also, it works as a live audio processor which Tardigrain doesn’t really do.
It is IAA only, that’s the only drawback, but it works well in AUM with a little bit of coaxing e.g. if you want to load Borderlands as a live effect in AUM, fire Borderlands up right before you load it as an IAA effect or B. will crash, but otherwise it behaves very well.
If you do go for it, and get stuck, just shout. There are plenty of Borderlands fans here and someone will get you going!
The imaginando granular synth is FRMS. GRFX is granular effects, a bit different.
