hey y'all! Saucillator creator here. excited to see y'all stumbled on it! a little context:

Saucillator is a synth app I made on android about 15 years ago. It got a semi niche following but I never really had the time to dedicate to it (it was built for Gingerbread it that means anything to you).

well I finally made it a priority and over the past few months totally rewrote the app, added new features, and launched on iOS. I've got a lot of vision for it. it's been awesome.

I'm happy to say that I'm working on AUv3 right now and will probably launch a simple v1 in the next 2 weeks. next after that a few fun features: community sharing of synth presets & arpegiator/rhythm to name a few. over the past month I launched revamped fx, beat generator, and midi support, so it's in very active development. and also will be free forever

I appreciate y'all sharing it. I'm obviously semi new to the space, so appreciate any feedback/sharing/support.

it's basically a set of logs/debug info right now that help me if a user has a bug. I can have them pull a single file in the UI to send to me as opposed to asking to pull logs.

It's a shame that it has no connectivity, but you can always throw your recording into loopy/AUM so.... yea thx.

@greennoise Saucillator is fun, but in about half an hour of playing around with it, I kept getting persistent stuck notes which I could only get rid of by pressing ‘Reset to Default’. Not sure how to replicate exactly, seemed to mainly happen after I started fiddling with the Effects page, but problematic for sure, don’t know if others have run into stuck notes too

Thanks for asking. I prefer the Apple File System that allows me to save file or open with, rather than exporting to an obscure directory- my adhd brain will get pulled in a hundred different directions looking for a folder to pull from. It's not a big deal, just one of the things I personally don't like to fk with. It's not just your app- I adore pixltracker and the relic apps and they share that same behavior. Again, not a biggie- but kinda makes it feel dated- obviously auv3 would negate the need to folder dive- so... don't take it personally. It's a gorgeous looking and sounding app chock full of useful params. Love You.

It actually has lots of types of synths, basic, addictive, wavetable, vector and audio in. Up to 2 layers, 2 osc per reach, 4 modulators and lfos, FX, arp, seq, etc. The UI might be a bit convoluted but it's an extremely capable synth.

A straight-up synth doesn't take up much space.
It's a full GB - haha. So it's a rompler.
It's also a synthesizer, I'll give you that. The correct word I should have used is "Hybrid" (rompler + synth).

Yes, hybrid is probably accurate. To be precise I would describe it as a synthesizer that can play samples. I associate the word rompler with an instrument with a fixed bank of samples---although SM2 comes with SF libraries, you can also import your own, making it more of a sampler. And you can also use it purely as a synthesizer.

Generally speaking AppRaven is a great app, a multitude of configuration options. This is not a response regarding reliable for IAP tracking, sorry, but for example, in the case of a discount on "Patterning 3" app, even though I have set the region for which the discount applies, it does not show information about the price reduction.

No notification on the "On sale!" list, main price - unchanged, price history chart - unchanged, but... after going to the "Country availability" tab, only here on the list for my country a lower price is visible. Strange.

The developer mentioned that they decided to change the price in a few specific countries, and that was why there was some confusion about a sale. Basically it was only a pricing change in a few places, not a sale around the world. Hope that helps.

Hi @Poppadocrock, thanks for the message. The thing is that my country is included in the discount (I see the lower price in the App Store). In AppRaven settings my country is set as default - one of that with the discount, but AppRaven doesn't show the discount for Patterning 3 for my country.

The question is whether the same approach applies to other apps that are discounted in certain countries only. Maybe they are cheaper in my App Store region, but AppRaven doesn't notify this and I do not know about cool sales, like Patterning 3.
