  • OMG a Juno?! I just did a little happy dance in the break room at work.

Wish someone would do a CZ-101 or a Prophet 5 one day …

I also have a CZ-101! Although I didn't play with it much. Way more complex synthesis, but just the factory presets were a lot of fun.

Thanks! The next emulation is going to be an old Organ/Strings machine. We are also working on a Juno 60, that's why we included the arpeggiator in the SX1000, and more instruments and of course also effects.

Interesting. As I mentioned earlier, I use the TAL Juno. I like it a lot, and will look forward to seeing what a different implementation might be like.

You don't by any chance have a JX8P on hand, do you? That would be an absolutely wonderful thing to hear realized in a mobile app.

    +1 on the Prophet path…

Got the SX1000 and while it is still ”yet anothet analog emulation”, the character on this one is really nice IMO. Well done @audiothing!

  • if you don't need another ios synth, you still need this one. It sounds fantastic, with a great range of sounds. Does not replicate any of the dozens I own, in my opinion. +++++

  • I really want to get this thing. The more I hear, the richer it sounds

From the quick tests I made so far, the Tal version was the closest to my unit (or at least I could match it easier/quicker).
    No, unfortunately, I don't have the JX8P.

  • Thank you all for the nice feedback. I really thought this synth deserved a proper emulation and I'm happy you are enjoying it!

  • SX1000 appears as the sustained bass in the chorus sections of my upcoming Pop production. ;) Good god, this synth. Thank you @audiothing ! You folks are a true blessing to the iOS music production community. 🙏

I second that. I tend to buy their apps before knowing whether I would use them or not now - even if I don’t, I’m glad to have supported them.

Same. Although I did fall behind on a couple apps, but I plan to rectify that soon enough. :) SX1000 is one of the best VAs I've ever heard on iOS, and has a unique sonic signature.
