I think mKer can do it. Here is the related description:
I'm buying this app tonight. @Gravitas, @pedro @rs2000
Edit: it is not just a drum machine, you get 1 to 4 notes per step. It just take 2 tracks/lanes for a 2 hand piano chord.
To be honest, musicians, including myself, usually don't get the beauty of step sequencers as we are so used to linear/time-line/piano-roll/whatever musical notation scores.
None of these approach give a full picture of the piece of music bening played. But a proper step sequencer can. I can even use it as chord progression/Rhythm hints(if the actual step is not clear, I can use a muted track just for notation)
How great that is.
That does look good. I think I'm gonna give it a spin too.
I got mKer and Dream Theater is a piece of cake now. No joke it is very flexible @wim
Not particularly digging it myself, at least for drums. Maybe it'll like it better for other types of sequencing.
@thesoundtestroom thanks again for your recommendation. After trying inside out of a few so called polyrhythm apps. Nothing beats Beat Scholar.
EDIT: Velocity can be adjusted per beat on the app!
