Transmigration Of The Soul
Original piece originally written for a video created by @Krupa - thanks for the inspiration.
Various Nembrini amps and effects are used for the guitars, acoustic guitar and bass. Put together in Cubasis 3 with some HalionSonic synths presets and GB Drummer Kyle doing a fine job. MagicDeathEye and Blackhole to wrap it up.

Wow! I'll bet it took a lot of time and takes to assemble this guitar orchestra. David Gilmore would be proud of this as a tribute effort.
Thanks for the extremely kind words @McD. The music came together quite quickly once I'd come up with a theme - the video was very good/inspiring. There's quite a lot going on: 4 different lead/harmony guitars; 3 rhythm guitars, 2 acoustic guitars; and bass guitar. Each guitar, with the exception of the acoustic guitars, has a Nembrini amp, effects and IR Loader - 37 Nembrinis in total. Was trying to use Gigfast Lite (@ArteraDSP) but couldn't get more than 2 or 3 instances running before they stuttered and disappeared - but it does sound good. Thanks for listening.
Very nice @pbelgium got the seventies vibe going on, I like the accelerating wibbly wibbly bit leading to the end section as well. Feel like I need to drop it over the video sometime to see the whole effect 🤘
That's very cool but, I'm a bit confused: who wrote the song? Krupa or you? Both?
Talking Nembrini (37..wow!) I've come up with the idea of mixing versions. Like you take the amp from one and the cab from another, that extends your library some and get you some new sounds. Maybe I should show in a video?
Thanks. The Heartbeat intro is missing on this mix. (I like the wibbly wibbly bit too.)
The video was by Krupa and the music by yours truly - the backstory is here.
I tend to use York Audio or Ownhammer IRs, but your idea sounds interesting. Thanks for the listen.
Ah now I follow. That's truly great. Thank you!
Great track, the first half reminded me of Obscured by Clouds and then the change of mood at 1:50ish really took it up a level, excellent work 👍
Love the multi part harmonies! @pbelgium
Top of the line sound and reminiscical. Can you post the video here? Sounds great on my ipad9.
Thanks for listening, commenting and liking. Had to google that one, I don't know/remember that album - I now feel embarrassed to admit I'm not a huge PF fan. Inspiration for this piece came from The Edge - the rhythm guitar of the first part is a simple motif with a dotted 8th delay to make it sound more complicated. The melody is kind of like a simple Jeff Beck melody with harmonies. The outro theme was my (vague) attempt at being Dave Gilmour - blues scale with an emphasis on chord tones. (Once again, I unashamedly admit to borrowing from others. Maybe I should be careful - don't want to end up like Giacomo Turra.)
Jazz harmonies (mainly 6ths & 9ths) rock! Thanks for the listen.
Thanks Michael. I can attach the music to the video and post it if @Krupa is okay with that.
No problem @pbelgium , I’m equally not a great PF fan. ObC is probably the least PF’ish album by PF.
The Giacomo Turra debacle is an interesting one. Obviously a talented musician but possibly sidetracked by the lure of fame ?
Not sure he’s a talented musician. Apparently, he did an interview with Rick Beato which never saw the light of day due to his inability to play. More of talented businessman. His videos were so well packaged - short, catchy and colorful. When the dust has settled he’ll probably become a successful producer.
