  • I always liked this song. Reminds me of watching Walt Disney on Sunday night after family dinner. I enjoyed your spin on it. The house piano sounds good. You would have liked playing at Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase in Chicago. The old room. I’ll listen to the rest of the album during the week. Have a good one.

  • Good to have you back, Michael, and on a solo piano jazzy tip too, just the way I like it! Hope you're doing well.

  • I don’t need to comment on the playing, which has me wishing I’d not given up piano lessons as a kid!

I love the texture of this. The background hiss and sound quality evoke nostalgia in a way a pristine recording couldn’t.

Good to see you sharing content here again. :-)

Fantastic sir! “Descent in the Mailroom”… I can hear a techno remix of this in my head, of the Jeff Mills persuasion:

  • Some powerful keyboarding here! That graphic must be from 1989 as well. Was the remastering done on the ipad? It sounds good.
I was just trying to decipher April in Paris. I know it must be in there somewhere.
Do you have any other 'vintage' recordings? I'm still hoping to hear the musical based on the Time Machine.

Thx @Paulieworld @Gavinski @klownshed @Stuntman_mike The cover was designed by Michael Schwab. Well known in the graphics business in the 80s and 90s.
I can’t deny I was at the top of my playing ability back then. Now I use iOS tricks!

Thanks, @MrStochastic I posted another live album, Thoughtless. Here’s the link…
