App store connection failed
Every time I try to open the app store I get a blank page with
“Connection failed, try again.
Its only on my ipad
All other sites and apps work normal

I was having the same problem a couple of days ago. Give it a day or two and they'll probably have it fixed.
Did you try force-quitting the AppStore app?
There can be occasional glitches in App Store availability. If you see that message after having relaunched the App Store try later.

It says all services operating normally
And appstore available
I restarted the ipad
And reset all the network data
So theres nothing wrong with wifi
I can do nothing more then wait and try later I guess.
There can be small local issues with App Store connectivity that don’t show up on the outage site.
Another strange thing is suddenly there is a cloudsymbol with the app Fluss.
It says Fluss can not be installed.
But it was already installed
Be sure that you don't have
Settings > iPad Storage > Offload Unused Appsenabled. That would cause the cloud symbol to happen to apps almost at random, and of course if you can't reach the App Store, you wouldn't be able to re-download it.On iOS 18 or earlier, access the Task Switcher by double-click on the Home button, and swipe the app off the screen. Not sure about iOS 26.

I did see that now 10 apps have a cloud next to it.
Weirdly they are the ten in a row that take up the least amount of space/ the smallest apps.

@meek3 did you do a cloud restore to the new iPad? Or possibly set it up using the transfer function from another device?
When setting up a new iPad in one of those ways, apps are downloaded not from the other device, but from the App Store. If your connection to the App Store is problematic then that would explain not all apps being fully installed as they should.
I set up a new iPad using transfer from the old one. I ended up with several apps that had the cloud next to them even though I didn't have any issues with the App Store.
Did you ever use any of those apps on the new iPad?
My previous ipad was the ipad2 and just died,
so I wasn’t able to use the old device.
I just followed the instructions on the ipad so I think the apps were downloaded from my account in the appstore.
I also did everything that you can find on apple support.

Yes, but it won't help if you can't access the App Store. As I mentioned, the apps aren't downloaded from the other device, they're always downloaded from the App Store.
Have you tried taking your iPad somewhere else so that you're using a different Internet connection?
Did iOS come installed or did you install it?
I think I updated it since this ios version is so new.
I think it said in the ipad somewhere that it was made about 6 months ago.
I just see that in my account for the ipad i can not choose to back up in the cloud.
For my iphone i can choose on or off
For my ipad i get a spinning wheel an then a stripe.

Do you have multiple AppStore accounts and did you maybe previously buy them from a different AppStore? If so, try logging in to that other AppStore to re-download those.
You shouldn't have to buy them again if you're logged in with the same ID you used to buy them originally. Sometimes the App Store has a glitch where it looks like you'll need to pay again for something you already own.
No I bought these recently on this account and I have only one account.
When I tap the apps I get a message I have to buy them again
And in the appstore they have the price label as if I didn’t buy them
Bizarre, well, definitely don't rush into buying them again. Maybe call Apple Support if you have AppleCare, good luck!
In the buyhistory there is the message under these apps saying the money got refunded.
Yet my account has zero euros
