So hot right now!
(Even the AppRaven recommended sale of the day today haha)
Happy Birthing day Hainbach!
@Squishy hell yeah. tons of T2S synthesis apps rn.
my fav: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/elevenlabs-ai-voice-generator/id6743162587
It’s here! https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/b00ga-microsound-sequencer/id6752775853
Premiere starting in 10 mins
Is it just me or are all the presets very quiet?
Woooooo
This is right up my alley, instabuy!
Playing now, absolutely love this 😍
These are the type of micro rhythms I like to layer under my beats.
It’s out!!

Pretty sick. I'm digging AT's emu series- I hope we see more and more. All universal too!!
I never thought I would want to emulate some Hewitt Packard hardware- especially test units. Leave it to Hainbach.
SX-1000/RES-O9/JUNE/B00GA/?????!!
The Ah Kosmos ones were very quiet when I tested on beta, super weird, don't know why they weren't adjusted. The other ones are at a normal enough volume
I've rebuilt the classic old analog vocoder circuits with Drambo modules, if you're interested:

Anyone interested in a Drambo word generator clone? 😅
LOL, I'm playing with it right now actually. So dope. You made the FM with XY pad one too, right?
There’s a guy I saw at the quadraphonic collaborative artist space dadaLab here in Austin that uses the HP WordGenerator as a sequencer in his live rig. One of my two favorite local electronic artist. Here’s a link to his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6RBwAaREp5bKoQkSEIkzSQ
This is Fez Morales’ live rig with the WordGenerator at base:
Yep, to make FM fun again 😄
Actually his name is Fez Moreno. Of course I had to buy the app! 😉
Chromatic System is the audiovisual combination of Fez Moreno‘s test equipment music (Chromatic Currents) and Paul Baker‘s 16mm projection art (Vision System).Broken Foam and Sequential Loops are a couple of videos which attempt to convey a live Chromatic System performance.
Self-taught electronic musician Fez Moreno made his own ‘synthesizer’ out of old pieces of telecommunication and data communication test equipment that he pieced together to use in different ways. His main focus is on exploring pure sound frequencies and doing improvisational compositions incorporating his own techniques to create rich sonic landscapes ranging from minimal drone to layered percussive rhythms. He is influenced by the early electronic & musique concrète composers such as Edgard Varèse, Tod Dockstader, and Karlheinz Stockhausen, as well as early sci-fi film soundtracks.

Working in 16mm film, analog video, and digital formats, Paul Baker accompanies music with projection. He also creates his own audiovisual works of scratched and painted film collage, analog energy patterns, VHS assemblage, and databent glitch video. His work has been screened globally and in 2012 he curated the Transcosmic Geometry collection. He credits himself with the terms “chroma hacking” and “pixel bending” Frequent visuals gigs include Tx Chip chiptune collective, Levitation festivals, Sub Oslo dub shows, MeMerMo Monday experimental programs, and Electric Church acid partys.

I said I didn’t want a drum machine… But this is amazing
I was laughing when I read you didn't want a drum machine haha as I already knew then what it was. But I also guessed correctly that you'd like it! Might be good to change the thread title and original post btw to mention the name etc btw!
What does this Hewlett-Packard Word Generator 8006A lab equipment have to offer over any other Hewlett-Packard Word Generator 8006A lab equipment app?
This one has electrolytes. 😜
Found this for vcv rack users:

This might be the most exciting release of the year for me personally@Gavinski preview really showed off some excellent rhythm sequences. I love that it’s part of the emulation series by AT
Piped through WOOTT, a nice verb, and using AUM’s clock divider function…
SOLD!
This looks like a winner for sure. First Audiothing thing that grabbed me in a while. Does it standalone or only plug in?
Audiothing + Hainbach is usually an instant buy for me…but GarageBand doesn’t really handle sequencers well in my experience. Gonna have to wait to see if anyone else who uses GB gets this and is able to use it successfully
The sounds from this so far are kinda cool. The old testing gear vibe/look isn't completely grabbing me yet, but sufficiently intrigued. I also want to see if this is AUv3 instrument and in the effect slot?
The file size is low, ie. 30MB. Does that mean it's like the other AudioThing/Hainbach apps where after you buy and install, you then need to download a few hundred megabytes of sample banks after the fact?
Nah, they are tiny samples. Clicks and buzzes and things like that. I wouldn't go as far to say they are single cycle, but they are short little one shots. There's no downloading banks of stuff.
Probably referring to Noises? I think those were so big because the sample files were .flac files. Even with test equipment squeaks and squelks, Hainbach still cares about audio fidelity haha
Nope, everything is included, the samples themselves are ~2.5 MB in total, they're litteraly clicks and pops.
