Haha thank you - you’re right - all is well again.👍
It loads when double-tapping on the red banner
@Svetlovska Excellent piece and demo of the app. And it’s good to have you back! (As it were…)
How are people liking this app now that its been out a little while?
It’s a very cool little playground. But the IAP for having Hainbach himself coming over your house to demo it in front of your family is a bit steep priced IMHO
If you do invite him, hide your jumpers
This ^^^ 😂
Great demo thanks. Especially engaging was the sound of mating narwhals from 4:15 onwards
I really like it Popps. I used it on something I’m finishing up. I really like the subtleness of it for layering it under other primary drums. It adds a nice.. compliment to it all, and i feel it’s fast to dial in a timbre and pattern. If your host allows easy automation, that’sa bonus cause the morph parameter is great for movement. It can be subtle to outright sound swapping. Just so i don’t get anyone overly excited, a preset comes with a handful of (samples?Waveforms?) which the morph Knob, uh, morphs between. Not to give the impression of full on sample swapping from a folder or something.
I'm on the fence with this one ... it's really crying out for an Envelope for the Sample section. And for more modulation, as always with Audiothing it seems, but that wouldn't be a dealbreaker.
Yea thats was i was thinking either a main or an underlying rhythmic component. I really liked the idea of importing samples and randomly creating moving rhythms.
Its time to make up my mind in a few and this one is right on the line. Can only get a couple more maybe
Booga doesn't have midi out does it?
I feel like that would surely turn it into a more confident purchase.
Me too. Decisions in the final hour. Lol.
I’ve decided to let it go. I can get this kind of sound with Battalion which offers a lot more flexbility. keeping some cash for the new Alexander Zotolov app, and what we hope will be the CloudZ IAP in Tera Pro 3.
I tried it out, and came to the same conclusion regarding Battalion. Unfortunately, I got my refund denied 🤷🏻♂️
Ok, let me rephrase that; is this also available for silicon macs?
Good to know that on the AppStore, for every app, there's a section near the bottom of the page called Compatibility which shows that kind of info, so it's easy to check for any app. Audiothing apps are never universal, desktop versions and iOS versions are always separate purchases, they wouldn't want to cannibalise their desktop plugin sales.
Cheers @Gavinski - I don't know why, but I felt sure that it was universal. Ah well. Lots of fun being had on ipad version...
Anyone figured out how to trigger pattern changes? Not seeing anything in the manual.
There's only that slider on the right for that, so you could move it manually by tapping or dragging, or you could set something up involving sending cc messages to the slider to modulate it.
I really like the app even if I could replicate this with other tools. I ran into an issue with my importing banks. It looks like it only works with folders that I zipped on the ipad and not the ones I zipped on my pc. I saw that people say the importing is the same as on the Noises app, but I don’t own it.
Yes, decompressing and recompressing worked, meanwhile, AudioThing support suggested I try compressing the files themselves in the PC and not the folder. I just tried that and it works.
Yep, all good! Off to making music, cheers
