    @jwmmakerofmusic Back in my day, we had Panama Red and Colombian Gold. We called the other stuff “ditch weed” and “shake”. We could pass around a doobie between five people, then go downstairs to jam. My wife likes to vape CBD before bed. She doesn’t like getting high, and it helps her sleep through the night. It seems like when I find something that works, I can never find it again. She currently likes something called Purple Grandaddy. Who comes up with these crazy names? The dispensary is called High Haven and it looks like a trendy, high end, fashion boutique. Quite an improvement over the cinder block warehouses with armed guards from a few years ago. At least I don’t feel like such a derelict walking in there. Have a nice weekend.

    Funny how nowadays it’s all around us, but I don’t care for it anymore, whereas in my twenties I’d drive miles for it. Growing up as an adolescent during the nineties in the states, my favorite part of it all were the head shops. The smell of burning incense welcomed you at the door, all of the colorful tapestries hanging on the walls, Dead Head bumper stickers (even though i didn’t listen), Marley posters, beads, and the beautiful hand-blown bowls, and the pretty neo-hippie girl that was usually reading a book behind the counter.

    What were we talking about man???
