Hey @AnalogMatthew, really seeing some legs on this synth, I appreciate all your hard work on it.
Would it be possible to have an option in settings to allow Triplet & Dotted values to the ARP/SEQ rate knob values, in between the current equal divisions, like in the tempo-synced lfo rate sliders, tempo-synced auto pan, & delay knobs?
Thanks for considering this request!
Wowow, so many great presets!
You took the very words out of my mouth, but then I thought, did the Jupiter 8 have this feature, definitely not but I think your request is well valid, so, @AnalogMatthew, if it is possible I would also like to this settings option in J8.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
Hi @AnalogMatthew, the LFO1 Mod Wheel Modulation has now got a unstable mixed waveform instead of a regular Sine, Saw, Square and Random, this happens in Stand-alone mode only when the Mod Wheel is operated. This behaviour was present with the 1.0.6 and still with 1.0.7 updates.
Mike
The Jupiter 8 surely has no internal tempo sync, so this is extending an already-not-Jupiter feature? (Now wondering if the Jupiter has an external clock input for the arp 😂)
I think you are in luck, it does have a clock input:

Has anyone else found problems when using the Mod Wheel for Modulation?
Nice demo.

To change the tab for the bottom panel, you tap the currently selected tab to scroll through each sequentially.
It appears that is the current solution; at least I didn’t see it before today’s update.
Edit: seems like a good solution to me
Here’s my vote for making this simultaneously accessible as a Mac au. I’ve seen at least one other request for this.
That was also the old way. I'd definitely prefer to have a separate tab for the bottom panel.
Originally I didn’t even see the hover tip for that. Yeah, a separate tab would be better.
I'd love see the sync of LFO2&3 get a bit of attention...
...it's quite audible that the LFO timing suffers when switching tabs while editing and playing the sound?!
(My guess is that both Audio and UI is done in the same thread causing the hiccups).
J8 sounds nice but I can't get over the LFO behavior...
absolutely loving Super J8 – in just 2 weeks it entered my personal top-3 (for those curious: two others are OB-Xd & Poison-202).
here's another vote for letting it run on Mac. honestly, i wouldn't even mind re-purchasing.

Same here.
Anyone else had battery drain even though you swiped the app away? Just come back to my iPad a couple of days after using the synth and it’s battery is empty with j8 being recorded as using the juice… @analog_matt
Hi @AnalogMatthew,
When I enter a MIDI note to play a J6 Sequence at the start of a beat in Cubasis, there is a 1/8th note delay before the Arpeggio starts, but if I move the MIDI note a tiny tiny fraction before the beat it plays ok, also the the step time is slightly erratic and has a kind of swing to the rhythm, this is very noticeable when reviewing different sequence patterns, apart from that - I love the J8👌

Update: NEW presets (wabi savi waves) added!!!!!
Thank you @AnalogMatthew and wabi!
LFOs are not in sync.
Get a simple two step sequencer going at quarter note.
Set an LFO to a sawtooth modulating the VCF at 8th note.
Play and hold a note. The LFO will drift. Am I doing something wrong.
+1 It's not working as expected and when the tempo is changed it gets even worse...
These 3 new apps from Audiokit have been my first synth tweak for a while.
Good synths though.
Thanks.
Thanks @AnalogMatthew for the new update and new presets by wabi savi.
The LFO when linked to the Mod Wheel is still faulty, if you enable LFO>VCO, select the sine wave in LFO1, set the rate to a medium speed, set the Mod Wheel halfway and press and hold a note, the modulation is a perfect sine, but as soon as you touch the Mod Wheel the modulation becomes erratic and sounds like a mix of both saw and sine at the same time.
Mike
You live! =-D
yeh. It's good to have @sigma79 back around. It's been awhile. 🤙🏼
Thanks wim and BB.
Super kind.
Thanks.
Is anyone gonna emulate a Behringer, just to see if they get a cease and desist letter ?
Hang on……let @AnalogMatthew finish the CS80 first 😅
And the Prophet 5….
😁

I've found the same in Viral synth too.
