  • Dreaming now but here goes iDiva, iSerum and iCBM, will all cause meltdown.

  • NanoStudio 2.

And a load of other stuff.

  • ah well, now that somebody mentioned:Yes,a Logic light would be welcome even if i already use 2 DAWs (good to have options,no?).I just love Logic.

    And yes to proper sync!!

  • A full version of Propellerheads Reason... on an expandable dock. Please :)

  • Yonac to have a go at making a drum machine so I can let go of DM1.

More wonderful updates to MTS by Giel Bremmers, apparently the most overlooked app in the world.

  • One live-oriented keyrig app. Rompler-like with a focus on bread and butter sounds AND good midi control implementation. Sampletank is not bad but midi control is almost absent. One app with good piano's, ep's, organs (with simple leslie control) and a nice collection of pad and lead sounds. Will get my money instantly.

A tracker with a really great touch interface, full bluetooth keyboard support, full midi support, supports IAA instruments / generators / effects, Audiobus in every slot, AudioShare support and a great internal sampler (that can load any audio, no matter the format, or .sf2 / .xi / etc). Basically Renoise, but fully re-engineered for multitouch. Maybe iSequence 3 will be this?

An app that's like a stand-alone version of the Bilbao gadget that is super light weight. Start, Length and Decay settings are a must. Or like a stripped down Battery.

Native Instruments releasing a Reaktor Player for iOS. I'd pay $100 for that if I could use the commercial Reaktor instruments I already have (like Monark).

A drum synth with a ton of synthesis, great patch storage (with tons of patterns of arbitrary length and tons of automation that can be unlinked from pattern length) and multiple outs in Audiobus.

Edit: Also, iPolysix and iMS-20 being able to be used as Gadgets.

  • Wow it sure is interesting seeing so many wide a varied dreams on this thread. Tuff for a developer to decide if they were to look at this group of choices. It will be interesting to see what in fact develops in the new year and for that matter this years end may well still hold surprises if last year can be any indication.

  • G-stomper for ios.

  • G-stomper Studio for ios.

  • Ableton Live iOS would be a dream....same thing for EzDrummer.
More realistic, and I guess it will actually happen: Syntorial for iOS!

PS... More virtual iOS synth mirroring the actual hardware.

  • More Gadgets.. FM synth would be nice. I hope Korg drops a few surprises.

    Nano studio 2 & BM3

Loopy Masterpiece!! I'm thinking this will become my #1 app the day it's released - the wait is going to kill me!

And maybe the bass synth port from Sugar Bytes - Cyclops I think it's called?

  • A universal midi sync app (or audiobus in app purchase) that is universally adopted to the extent audiobus has been for audio

  • iReason would be AWESOME! I would also be very happy with a standalone NN-XT

    Stephen

  • I'm throwing in with the Auria MIDI update, but also hoping for a significant improvement in SampleTank's whole Midi implementation in a future update.

I'd even settle for noticeable improvement.

  • Good stuff here. Nanostudio 2, midi in Auria, iOS sync nirvana and Loopy Masterpiece are at the top of mine.

  • I'm loving this Matrix where art thou!

  • Automation and IAA send effects in Garageband.
"Smart Brass" and "Smart Wind" iaps in Garageband.
A stand-alone guitar fretboard style lead solo app with midi out and audiobus support

I couldn't believe GarageBand on iOS didn't have automation when I started using it. Really lets it down and really needs adding as an update, even if just for volume control when mixing.

  • Thing is with GarageBand I quickly outgrew it, some wonderful things in there, but for me, no midi, getting things in there, doable I know but could be better, getting things out!!!!!
I don't understand why on earth Apple have not brought Logic to iOS yet.

  • Something like BM2 but having drag and drop functionality with midi files and midi drum loops.

  • A decent lap-steel guitar emulation with Audiobus or IAA...

If you make it, I'll buy it.

JR Smooth Steel in Thumbjam is good, I use that via Echo Pad for Dave Gilmour style leads

    I would, if I could...
I love JR Smooth Steel in TJ, but I would like to see something like this with Audiobus: „Pedal Steel“ von Nick Culbertson
    https://appsto.re/de/lohvA.i

  • Yonac has a pedal steel app. Hasn't been touched in years.

  • Would be awesome to see @sonosaurus and @yonac collab on pedal steel app.

At one point I think the Pedal Steel dev Nick Culbertson logged in here and offered to give @sonosaurus those pedal steel samples to use in TJ but the samples have not shown up yet as a download in TJ.

    @sonosaurus Any update on that?
