I saw a few contenders on the App Store tonight @funjunkie27. The three I/we have generally work for me, if not wonderfully, so I didn't bite.
@rad3d just so you know, and perhaps you already do, but loopy has a pretty stable clock and supports tap tempo via MIDI. Might be a part of your solution.
I want an amazeballs midi router. Some unholy mashup of the IConfig control panel, MIDIbridge, OS X MIDI setup and MIDIFlow. And might as well add an amazing monitoring mode for funjunkie.

You should explain more what you have in mind. I find MidiBridge does 99% of what I need, but I'd be keen on any app with more configuration or control.

Lovely, I'll be looking forward to that one.

Yup. Using Loopy for that now, though I'm not using it for anything else. Just seems that if you have a sequencer driving all your synths, there's no reason it shouldn't be capable of being a solid clock source, as well.
Audio tracks for Gadget (as originally promised). Upgraded Garageband (and let us use GB in ANY Audiobus slot) or a Logic for IOS. VST-like integration of instruments and effects in Cubasis (and other DAWs)? With new iPads having more power and memory, the doors will open for a lot of exciting new developments!
^What Phil said about sums it up...we need to see some evolution of the platform very soon....
Some kind of ableton experience (auxy pro?) for live performances, BM3 and something for ios from my favourite Swedish companies (Elektron and Teenage Engineering) would be amazing...

Lol..I hope you get what you wished for?
Yup, the promised audio tracks for gadget would certainly do it for me too.
Me too
Would also like to see a live mode in the next Gadget update, so you can play individual scenes, that and a timeline view and full AB support and you've got one heck of a daw...
I'm really digging Korgs Gadget, but wish it would be possible to have bigger onscreen keyboard to play on and deletion/rename for imported samples.
Sharing of 'samples' inside Gadget (ie. make Bilbao drum kit with London samples, use Marseille samples in Keiv and vise versa).
And well, a proper 'sampler' inside Gadget for laying down samples on keyboard or drum kit... (I mean Korg knows how to do this, even the Kronos has soundfont support and very neat way to edit samples and make wave-sequences etc.).
If or when Kong makes the HD-1 Engine from Kronos an 'iOS-App' I'd be prepared to pay premium easily.
For me a buit-in sampler + instrument editor in Cubasis would be a very welcome addition too...
@Accent MIDIBridge does indeed do most of what I want. I just want it in a nicer, easier to use/navigate package.
Logic Remote for iPhone. And i hope i can use the Sunrizer app as remote for the AU version. And more kind of these remote apps to get all the awesome things together.
"I'd love to see one of the really enthusiastic developers buy out Samplr and update it regularly"
This!
Better integration of all things, with all things!
Esp MIDI control between apps, or universal audio file transfer, Bluetooth magic
I wish for those things least likely to happen, AB for Synth X, the Borderlands update
MIDI and VST plug ins for Auria
IFretless anything
The next generation of performance interface apps, best elements of Animoog, Orphion, ThumbJam, iFretless, Airvox, Impaktor, and their ilk, where full use of expressive live performance possibilities with device are made (combine all the multi touch, accelerometer, camera, microphone combinations)
