New underground-rock single recording ''Slipped Away"

Slipped Away

https://hearthis.at/frenq/slippedaway/

Slipped Away dives into the darker corners of the night — where love feels dangerous, fleeting, and never fully yours. It’s a raw, underground‑leaning rock track built on gritty guitars, a restless pulse, and vocals that carry the weight of someone who watched a connection vanish into someone else’s world.

The song moves like a late‑night walk through empty streets: shadows, echoes, and the kind of silence that hits harder than noise. It’s not polished heartbreak — it’s the rough, unfiltered version. The version you don’t tell anyone about.

Slipped Away is for listeners who live between the lines, who feel more at home in dim bars than bright rooms, and who know that some stories don’t end — they just fade into the dark.

Tell me what you think about this song, frenq

  • Well done a lot of work there

  • Don't know how this piece "slipped away" under my radar, haha, but what a ride! :) I love the vocals, and that great slammin guitar solo in the middle. This is great music!

  • @Phil999, @Kaptkraych and @jwmmakerofmusic thanks guys for the nice reactions and for listening, it was indeed hard work and yes, the singing is sublime. Part two is coming and later the full EP. frenq

Gonna be the best EP yet I feel!

  • It's funny that you say that, Jim, but I'm feeling the same way now too. However, we're right in the middle of the recording process. Song two is just finished. What do you think, should I release it now too or wait until the whole EP is done? frenq

That's a tough call to make, mate. :) Sometimes it's best to save things for the actual EP release, but then again...I wanna hear it. LOL! If you do decide to save it, my DMs are open in case you want me to hear it. :)

  • Let's Rock! Nice track @Frenq!

  • @pbelgium, hello Paul, thanks for listening and your comment!

Well what i wrote doesnt make a lot of sense but that a long story . Ill set the record stright be saying for some reason , without going back through the post, i was reminded of the days i made films with the other students at uni. Of course people were excited to show movie rough cuts ( 3 or 7 min long) before the movies had been signed off…. Quite often people whod seen the rough cuts wouldnt bother seeing the finished movie because they felt theyd already seen it…. Which in fact they hadnt …. They saw only the rough cuts, sound not finished, last minute edits not done, endless stuff

Ah, I better understand what you mean. :) Well, I know for a fact one track from an EP isn't the entire experience of the EP, just the "rough cut". I usually tease my EPs/albums with one or two tracks on Soundcloud (for no other reason than to get one of those tracks in the SC algorithm to be put in front of more pairs of ears). The EPs however don't get as many plays since Soundcloud doesn't put tracks longer than 10 minutes in the algo.

And, I do love Frenq's music. :) What a prolific composer and producer.
