What’s your Aube number?
Just out of curiosity….
What is your Aube score?

Comments
This is what I currently have loaded on my phone not sure how many I don’t have loaded, 30? I know I have more on my iPad. Will check in a bit.
17.7, because I can’t buy Aube due to being stuck on 17.7 :[
Secretly I hope others have a lot more than I have 🙂
It was 572 but after an update it's now 584. I'm more a collector than a user.
This is a dick measuring contest where it's hard to say whether the winners are the ones who score high or the ones who score low 😅
Is AUBE 1 still being updated?
I think that number also reflects the ones that you bought but which aren't on your device, no?
I’m not really sure how it’s calculated. After the most recent data update, my iPad AUBE# is six more than my iPhone, but I’m sure I have many more apps on my iPad than my phone. Some are iPad only, of course, and some take up too much storage, or don’t size well, etc.
Also, it might include apps I’m beta testing. I see at least two in there which I don’t actually own.
What it oughta do is show me how many apps I’m actually using, and of those, how many I’m using to anywhere near their full potential. It would be a much smaller number, and I’m not sure I could stand the shock of seeing it. Maybe Fred could add an option for AUBE to stage an intervention after every fifth purchase.
Hahaha
Not telling...they are a lot easier to sneak into the house than hardware purchases and I might get some unwanted feedback on my spendyness... ;-)
Edit: I've just checked and now I'm getting unwanted feedback from myself....Yikes.
No, I’m a bit ashamed sometimes by the number of apps and was curious what is the average.
Someone please post a higher number than mine. 650 isn’t THAT many, right? I feel like someone might have more than me if I’m remembering correctly.
It would be way more interesting with fraction of how many of all those plug-ins actually get used on a semi-regular basis
Probably about 5
How many forum users here, would you say, are that kind of “addicted” here by G.A.S. ???
I ask this for a specific reason: in my personal experience, musicians make very selective choices regarding their tools, using only what they actually and actively employ for their creativity and work. I believe it is also a matter of available time. That is why I really wonder how such a discussion can even come about. Is this not, in fact, an unconscious act of self-revelation regarding an addiction? Or are these examples of market research?
In Aube can we see how many app are listed. I am curious what is the max. 😆
And what actually would that “max” mean then?
It’s all just numbers, dude. hits blunt
How many apps are listed in Aube database.
People have lots of apps because they are cheap and most music app do not have a demo mode. Lots of us end up buying multiple app that don’t fit our work flow until will lock in on said workflow.
I did not have a workflow when I started I had to discover what I like first and what I needed second.
Never smoke and https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/67133/2026-ios-app-sales-discussions#latest !!
And ist that database actually complete?
As I know , there is no official API for gaining complete access to Apples AppStore records.

Aube is a database of music apps maintained by the developer FAC.
Yea, I know, but how can he ensure, that the dataset is complete? Or is it a curated list?
The latter would invoke some questions.
When you have apps not in the list you can submit them and they will be added.
Over 800 last i looked but i couldnt afford aube 2 and i had aube 1 but aube 2 being out made me feel like aube 1 was inferior so i deleted it
Yea over 800…. Theres not much left but novelty and stunning UIs
I'd consider myself better off in all ways if the number was lower.
Now I'm really curious
