To be fair it is not really that bad but I am relatively new to IOS. Quite a bit more than Meek3 but have less than Fizzy Lizzy(then again so does the App Store;-)).
It is not the actual number that is so bad it is more the realisation that I haven't even opened a large percentage of them after buying on sale through fear of missing out on a bargain. I've been pretty good at resisting for the last couple of months but just added two more today. Headstack which is great and already used and AlchemDie which I haven't but blame on a brilliant demo vid from the creator which made me buy it before even checking out Gavinski's quality review. Pressing a button is too easy and it doesn't feel like real money...until later... :-) ...
OK I give in, 460 + 6 unknown is my score but I didn't start until 2023 and works out roughly 3 per week or one every 2 days with Sunday off... Hi, I'm Andy and I am an App-oholic....
0, since I own neither the OG Aube nor Aube 2. 😂 20 quid to find out how many AUv3s I got?
I always rave about the iOS keyboard that comes included. You can see all your plugins on a keyboard and tapping one enters the name of the plugin as text. It’s helped me get more usage out of and organize my auv3s
That's actually handy.

I guess the way I look at it is, iOS music is my primary hobby, and I really don’t spend much money on myself other than music-making apps and BandCamp music.
Yeah, I’ve made plenty of purchases I regret, but a lot of my apps were free, inexpensive, or bought on sale or at launch. There have only been a few expensive ones. I think the most I’ve ever paid is $29 for FM Rubato.
I’ve often thought it would be great if there were a way we could swap unwanted apps or even just donate them.
AUBE also has a random button, so sometimes I’ll just do a five minute session in AUM where I throw the dice just to see what I can come up with.
Surely when it gets that high it should just say "All of Them"
As I slowly start to repopulate my crashed iPad I'm real picky and I feel I don't want this one. Not one bit. Weird enough.

Hoarding boss level
Mine is over 600. somehow never noticed that number before, don‘t use AUBE much….but how in God‘s name do i have that many? How does it count these things…..i imagine the gadget ones add up quickly…gun to my head I don't think I could name 100 AUv3s
I always get a kick out of whipping out a screenshot of Aube’s App Store entree 🤓
Although, multiply that number by the average cost, $, €, £, ¥, ₹, ₽, ₡ etc and it's a scarier number.
No shit, mate. 😬 It took me a long time to overcome GAS and "come to my wisdom" about not overspending. 🤣 Better late than never.
What is this "overcome GAS" you speak of. I thought that was just a myth. You mean, it's real!
LOL! It's not impossible, just nearly. 😂
Yeah, I'm getting "body count" vibes from this thread...the same mix of curiosity, shame and rationalization from the responses.
Hi, my name is Andy and I am an app-aholic, it has been 2 days since my last purchase...
How on earth have I only got 294. I thought I bought everything since 2009!
How… How??
photoshop
The problem is, that there aren’t even 1823 Audio Units available in the Apple App Store at this point of time. So the screenshot of the poster with that is probably a fake too.
Considering that many apps provide multiple AUv3's the number of AUv3's might exceed the actual number of apps available on the AppStore...
I feel better now. My number doesn’t seem excessive.
