yep it works perfect…a little gutted about no feature updates but alas it was not meant to be.
Audiopaste is no longer working, Samplr just bombs out when I paste from the general pasteboard. I'm using an ipad 3, IOS 7.1.2. Anyone else having this problem? I've re-installed and rebooted, airplane mode, blah, blah blah...... Very frustrating.
@Mmmwahaha Yup, mentioned that at the top of the show, but glad (sort of, sorry) that someone else has the same issue. Presuming, as it's somewhat fundamental, that our friend Marcos will get the hot knives out sooner rather than later on this one...
Note however that I do find, after crashing the app, the pasted sample does then appear in the library....
Sooner rather than later doesn't seem his modus operandi, does it? It is a pity. I don't know who said it but I agree that some more functionality could come even as IAP. I'm not sure I understand the down side of it. Either way we have a wonderful app and we can never get enough, can we? If it's bad we wish it could be good, if it's good we wish it could be better. Humans!..
Bug confirmed -> coping from general pasteboard = crash ...(ipad3 iOS 7.1.2)
I didn't noticed since I export straight from audioshare (it works for me)
By the way, the AudioCopy crash happens in AudioShare. It has been occurring for a while. I mentioned it to Jonatan...I'm comparing iOS 7.1.2 on an Air, older Samplr. And latest on an Air 2, iOS 8.1.2. The Air 2 has some kind of graphics issue as noted by Rim from Auria in their forum! I hope Apple are working on it, amongst other things 8-) The bug is that the response time is not as fast as on the Air 1, inside and outside of AB. And that when playing quickly in Slicer & Keyboard mode, sometimes the process is getting stuck. Tapping no longer triggers the sample, for a few seconds. Possibly a polyphony related issue? I also noticed a glitch and audio cutting out in AB iOS 8.1.2. I never had that before with Samplr. Even on the ipad1! Has anyone tried iOS 8.1.2 and the latest Samplr on an iPad Air! I'd like to update as there are a few, under the hood, improvements! People should always keep copies of the IPA file before updating, anyhow, in these circumstances. See Google...
The update seems to be working fine on my iPad 2, 7.1x and the arpeggiators working again. A bit more glitchy than before though when running through AB + effects.

Gotcha. It is a shame that this great app is slowly developed. So many good points, but plenty of frustrations too.
It would help too, if the developer was just a little more vocal about his plans for the app, rather than letting the users second guess what's happening.
I saw somebody suggest that another, more dedicated, developer buy out the app... not sure that's something that could happen, but I could instantly think of four names I'd like to see get their hands on it.
I haven't tested midi sync yet. But, it's nice to see Ssmplr in MidiBus, once again. I am finding the update to be pretty good. My issues last night in iOS 8, Air 2, seem to have disappeared. All seems good there. Although there is likely to still be the Apple issue with the Air 2 graphics. Check the Auria forum...And in iOS 7.1.2, Air 1, I had to update AudioBus to the latest 2.1.8, to get Samplr functioning and recognised by AB. After doing that, all seems good! I had to delete old AB state saver setups, as they produced strange results. I'll update you on any further issues, but great to have the update, basically!

Try using the loop feature: from the audiopaste screen, tap the little gear wheel in the upper right, it will take you to a page that allows you to select the number of loops, just paste from that page (tap "paste" at the bottom) and it won't crash. This is on an Air, iOS up to date, and I assume it will work fro your set up but perhaps not.
Not to hijack this thread too much, but this is pretty much the last frontier for most people who are holding out to updating to iOS8, right? As far as I can tell, most of the apps I see mentioned on the boards have been updated to work on iOS8 now. Maybe just not Filatron?
Ipad 3 7.1.2 Samplr audio paste working perfectly here, I did not upgrade Samplr though as there weren't any new features.
@Duck_Waddle , Filtartron does work under ios 8 just not under IAA or AB, it does not appear on the lists. I can still play the loops and line in through the filter. I would like to know why it is not being upated. It is definitly a gem of a filter and one of the only reasons that held me to ios 7

Thanks. I never considered it a must have, but over the holiday break I really started to see its potential. For instance, I ran an ambient, atmosphere-type patch from Sector through Filatron. But, I turned up Filatron's oscillator and tuned it to Sector - the combined output was absolutely stunning. If only you could lock the osc frequency to a scale.

I would love to hear a slice of this stunning....
Kobamoto: There were no new features. But there was the file structure bug fixed: Where the last played song now appears where it was without having to scroll through the files from the beginning as previously. On the down side: iPad Air 2, iOS 8: There are occasional glitches (Airplane Mode). Whether in or out of Audiobus! There is also a strange and intermittent touchscreen response issue. Basically Samplr is less responsive, less predictable, in fact slower to respond to fast input, than in iOS 7, Air 1. This might be the as yet unresolved graphics issue with the Air 2. Where it crashes Auria in Mixer Mode, with the CPU at only 60% +/-. I have also found unpredictable issues with saving tracks: Sometimes patterns that played in sync, perfectly before saving: Are now playing a beat or two off? Very bizarre and this has happened in a couple of songs I've been working on. It might be because the songs were first written in an earlier version of Samplr? I will write some songs in iOS 8, with the latest Samplr version and see... My main feature request is for individual channel output via IAA or Audiobus. This would make Samplr a much better sounding machine. And allow more professional, complex processing of each sample. Without relying on the built in effects so much. Sample's 6 channels directly recorded into Auria is the way to go! Please!
By the way, for me: in iOS 7.1.2: Sometimes AudioBus is not seeing Samplr when I open up the app? If I open Samplr before, then Samplr is listed as normal. I've tried re-installing the app. (Air 1).
Still crashes when I paste directly (Air 1, 8.1). Fine when I 'open in' from AS.
Reading the above problems, is Samplr usable in AIR 1 latest ios8?
My first "want to get app" after the update...
thanks for the heads up sELf, Samplr is the most important app I have and these are difficult times for it seemingly all around… I can only hope we get some more development and that this beast gets back on track… Matter of fact I'm holding off on upgrading my iPad 3 waiting on Samplr. no iOS 8 for me on the iPad until Samplr is in perfect union with the os

Same here, will keep my ipad2 on ios7 when I upgrade just so I will have a version definitely working (hopefully an ipad pro will materialize spring/summer). Will never be without Samplr will just keep dedicated ipad and treat it as hardware.
Just bought the app. Figured my little $10 contribution might help the developer fix some of the errors bothering the experts here. I'm thinking for my purposes that it'll be a fun little app to play with, and 100s of times better than the POS SirSampleton app I have been using.
Very fun! Even is there is a few niggles here and there..
I bought it, but haven't really figured out how to make serious music with it. At first i thought i could use it to sample my Korg Trinity and make keyboard patches out of the samples.
Guys stop bumping this old thread or I'll report you to the authorities! I've been having daily heart attacks.
