EUR guys, whats your price now? I have 14.90 Eur
I'm running it on an ipad4, I found it uses a fair bit less CPU with the 'visualiser' set to off in the video settings. This newer version seems less prone to crashes as well.
A thousand times yes on turning off the visualizer.
For me it is still a very temperamental app even on an iPad air, and way too unstable for live gigs. I notice the CPU meter reading often turns red at less than 40%. Maybe someone can tell me what am I doing wrong
Not sure but it runs very stable on my air 1. It has not crashed once and sounds great!

Cheers man, i think you've just saved me from caving in .
I believe the perceived stability of an app like this will hugely depend on what effects you're using and how many other apps are running in parallel. If you're a lot into reverbs and pile on several effects at once that will definitely stress the CPU. I also find that live use somehow pushes the CPU even more. As in when you're running the session for hours without stopping much.
Edit: also octave/pitch effects are big CPU suckers.

Hi all - Nick with the devs NOIISE here, just lurking... if you have any direct questions let me know!
The 1.01 update has increased stability and made performance considerably smoother for me.
No major problems running @256 samples with a live input.(iPad Air)
Also seems stable in Audioshare IAA and the simple AB configurations I have tried.
However, I can't claim to have extensively stress tested it yet, so I can understand the slight concerns over stability for live use.
That being said, I would still highly recommend this.

Hi Flo26 - yes definitely you are able to control parameters via MIDI. There are some details here: http://flux.noii.se/manual/#midi
As we say in the manual, it isnt a full spec at the moment but you can control all the major performance parameters.
Something like a KMI SoftStep2 makes a perfect controller with all of the individual XY pads, and we will have a bundle deal on these coming up soon! Stay tuned. We are also playing with a wireless controller for the XY that is super-fun.
Only a couple of crashes today since I got it - probably used it for 2-2.5 hours running through all presets. This was with Loopy in output and Flux input in AB. iPad 4. Ios 7.0.2. Most fun I've had playing guitar in months.

Doesn't it feel great when you catch yourself standing on top of the machinery and remembering what all of this is about in the first place, rather than struggling with the (not-always-just-metaphorical) knobs and wires?
Yes yes yes. Ran a synth line thru Flux tonight and it was magical too! Top 5 app of mine now for sure.
