Hi, I'm new. Oh, by the way, Beathawk's out!
Hello everyone. Sorry, not sure how to make App Store links. But if you access the UVI website it should direct you at the top of the page.

Welcome mister. Can't see it in the UK store. Is it a time zone release?
Just like the buses, good thing payday is near.
You know, Beathawk was my Superhero name in the back of beyond. Amazing what a derp I was long before the word derp had even thought of falling into disuse already.
I'm in the UK. It's £3.99 (50% off). Go here on your iPad: http://www.uvi.net/beathawk a link is provided at the top of the page.
German app store still says"nope".
edit:scratch that,thanks @CalCutta
edit 2:over 800MB??
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id839563064?mt=8
$4.99 here. Is it, you know, good?
EDIT: Have to say, it looks grown-up...
Official trailer
I hope to hear some nice examples soon. This could go on a future app purchase .
no midi sync? looks very slick though! I'm resisting - gonna wait for a couple reviews first...
...still resisting... ugh
Looks nice, sounds even nicer. Some of the IAP sound packs are eyewatering! Don't want to use all my NAMM release funds on this.
Great first post, btw
Import: FLAC, WAV, MP3, MP4, or AIF (Yay!)
Easily transfer files via. iTunes App (Oh...)
If anyone buys this app, would you be kind enough to share with the class what methods of importing are available? Also, if it works in the AB input and output slot. Please and thanks.
Oh alright.....buying it now. Will have a dig about.
EDIT: Taking a long time to DL. There is notion of User stuff here:
but no evidence yet.
Trailer was internationally second rate.
That trailer is kind of cheesy. The first half of it seemed like a Beats commercial.
Not to high jack but does anyone know how to find the new multifx by Fingerlab?
Edit : sorry wrong thread, should have posted it in the flux fx one.
Edit 2: thanks @telecharge
It's not out yet, @supadom.
EDIT: Not sure if you saw this in one of the DM1 threads, but here is a video page with an app store link that goes nowhere.
Trailer just put me right off
@beathoven welcome! this is exciting news. Thanks for sharing here.
And nice trailer but honestly, people around here(the forum) will get more excited about a demo. If you've got 5 promo codes to spare, I think there are a few of us who could turn around a youtube demo.
edit: sweet, looks like lots of demo vids on the UVI youtube channel
https://www.youtube.com/user/UVIofficial
I'd especially like a look at how the sampler works.
@halftone, definitely has MIDI, but doesn't specify whether or not it has MIDI sync.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Been lurking for too long. Thought, like me, you might be interested in this news since it was announced about a year ago!
I was waiting for this now i want to know more about it
I am not a reliable witness, EDIT EDIT....YES there's ACP but it's hidden the hell away
Nice UI, lots of quick clever to-hand stuff, but.....Going to try AB etc.
EDIT: Opens nicely as AB input...
First cheap summary: Seems like a nice dance box aimed at exactly who the trailer was aimed at. BUT I WILL STILL MAKE SAD MUSIC WITH IT DAMMIT.
Second cheap summary: Love how you can fiddle with samples SO easily...
wow was just talking smack about beathawk couple days ago, gotta read through and see what you guys say about it, i see it reads flac files damn that's unexpected and nice. thats one thing it's got over the others.
Demos and tutorials are on their website: http://www.uvi.net/beathawk
How's the included sound content? Is there a lot of licks and phrases, or rather proper sampled instruments that you can make your own melodies/basslines with?

Also appears to have time-stretching, core audio, IAA AND Audiobus!

And here's a YouTube playlist:
And here's a grey picture of prefs:
Itunes transfer right now, so no Dropbox support, but that is a non-issue for me because I use iFunbox when I'm home and iFile while on the go. iFile makes every app. Dropbox-compatible. Beathawk, wow! They flew in outta nowhere. Was not expecting this:)
Thanks for the info, @JohnnyGoodyear.
