ok I would have been brought to tears if I had seen virtual midi in that pref shot, please somebody tell me I can sequence iOS synths with this and not just instruments external to the iPad?
Oh. So bit of a gateway to purchase IAPs. Hmpf...well unless sample import and folder structuring is as good as say iMPC Pro, I'll prolly just stick w/ that.

just checked it, even there it was the least mentioned, as if it's not the most important part of a sampling beatmachine , well i'm going to grab it at 5 bucks and see what's what

As regards the included banks: Not bad. Very Dance, but enough samples to have a good go with because of the ability to easily change pitch, volume etc etc.
Lots of cool banks but not cheap (5, 6, 7 or 10 bucks a pop).
My gut says it's not an IMPC, but it might be a lot more fun/quicker to play/make shit with.
Speaking of listening to users, I wonder what Retronyms' response will be............never mind I just got it. Just received an email: "Loopmasters adds new packs to the Content Store". Great, more $9.99 loop packs for Audiocopy.
I'd still like to suss out the various(?) ways of getting audio into BeatHawk. There's ACP, iTunes File Sharing, and ???

What I'm already vastly upset about is not being able (apparently) to delete samples, let alone rename them. It's going to get very pickle-ish very quickly. Oh how I wish our friend from AS could wave his magic wand over this lot....the foregoing typed in such an emotional manner to cause the reverse jinx Gods to show me that proper management is in fact available. Still doubt it, but would love to eat the humble pie.

terrible sample editing, very limited basic trim
no truncate or anything else for that matter
no sample truncate that I can see, it seems to be non-destructive which is cool if you don't want to get rid of excess audio which I do so not so cool for me.
it's quick to move around, also there is not allot going on here, feels like a souped up imaschine in some ways and has less sample editing. the copy and pasting of tracks/patterns is cool it's easy to move stuff around, easy to mute stuff, easy song mode
I feel like sample editing is an after thought…
it's very cool that it's got time stretching. No iTunes library sampling

Anyone had a look with iFunbox yet? Can you slap samples and folder it that way? I've been spoilt by iMPC Pro's awesome folder/sample structuring and search engine. Perhaps this is more in line with iMaschine or something tho..
Unfortunately have to go out into the world and fulfill duties, BUT I am looking forward to putting aside an hour or two later to see where I am led to by this thing. That in itself is a plus sign (the old cheaper than a posh coffee line)....we'll see. Look forward to smarter folks than me getting under the hood...
uhh impc pro and bm2 outperform this app.
i think it's better than imaschine though, edit your samples somewhere else, stick 'em in and do your thing.. very easy song mode to put beats together and you should be able to get something interesting out of the realtime stretch with your samples but even still it's no match for the above two mentioned.
