This has just had another update, with a lower (half the last one) installation size.

Excellent, feels like I went on a diet overnight.

Ahh...that'll be the extra 400mb then!

  • Anyone else noticing the UI being super sluggish as you navigate around it. Using it on a 2017 iPad Pro and the UI is damn slow...makes it hard to use. :s

Have to say I see nothing out of the ordinary. Running slick and fine. Maybe my 12.9 is a little older than yours....can't think of any other obvious difference...

A couple of app store reviews say the same thing. Sounds like a problem for some. I'd let Sugar Bytes know.

I have this problem as well. Interestingly, I also get this with Unique. I communicated both issues to Sugar Bytes around the time Unique came out and Egoist was updated to v1.5, and they said they were trying to discover what the problem was. Emails were exchanged with the dev team over a number of weeks. A few updates down the road and the problem persists. It’s a shame as the issue makes Unique pretty useless, though I don’t use it much (that doesn’t make it ok). It’s not so much of an issue with Egoist, it’s a different type of app. And I use it so much I’ve become used to it to the point I don’t really notice it anymore. I don’t get this issue with any of their other apps.

Audiobus 3 had a similar interface latency problem when iOS11 hit. They fixed it pretty sharpish though.
