    (Actually, I think it's fine)

I really like the new format for what it is, but I understand people saying they don't like it because it IS an adjustment. I just have such a strong familiarity with the old version having checked it probably dozens of times a day for the past year or so. It's almost like hearing people you know suddenly talking in a different voice. But it offers all the same features plus a few new ones, so I'm sure after a few days I'll be used to it.

+1 apart from the convoluted plus one feature.

  • I never paid attention to the +1 stuff anyway so I will not be missing it. Hell I was not even aware their was a +1 button.

  • Ah, I see what you did, much better in terms of white, love it. No change to whitespace though, still too little content per square inch, but as I said before, I can live with it if I have to.

  • Seems plenty wide to me; just right really. I'm on a 1600px monitor at the moment. Fills about half the window and more importantly, doesn't do the crazy long line thing when I have the browser stretched wide. You can make it a little bigger/wider by hitting CMD and + (or CTRL if on Windows).

  • I do like the white but I really like that I can stay logged in on my iPad! Good job.

  • Looks good to me.

Reading all the suggestions reminded me of what a potter once told me: "The customer always wants to try to insert him/her self into the artist's creative process."
