A lot of these links will work and can be downloaded using the browser in Audioshare without ever having to leave your ipad or iphone and obviously on from there in to the app of your choice
Could be a good bin. Certainly a good idea. I think I've mentioned:
http://www.freesound.org
before, but most of the best left-field-recordings I've used have come from here. Don't tell anyone else.
Nice idea @RedSkyLullabye - bookmarked. FreeDrumKits.net is a nice dual resource ... Drum samples and instrument Soundfonts if you have a bs16i or summat needs loading

This was just posted on synthtopia.com today

Thanks for the link @knewspeak
Love Novation. Bass Station was my first proper synth, also had an A Station until recently, loads of samples there.
@knewspeak haven't listened to them yet, but a big boy chunk right there... thanks for the tip.
thanks @synthandson 99sounds has some great stuff. I keep referring back to this thread for sounds
I made a morphing sample based instrument for Ableton live a while back if anyone is interested (samples in project folder for iOS use).

A link to a 14page thread for sample links. It's a chip music forum but the samples linked there are of every possible kind

@way_of_tea Very nice sounds there
Thanks @Littlewoodg that just doubled the samples available in this thread
@way_of_tea thanks. Appreciate the generosity. And thanks @Littlewoodg also; good find and tip.
From @Littlewoodg's suggestion I must say it irks me that the link: http://8bitcollective.com/wiki/index.php/Scoobycore is a 404.
Described as Cartoon samples, more specifically the Scooby feet sound.
This I would have liked to have had in my arsenal.
Sigh.
Free until March 30, 100 Crashes at http://mcrow.net/product/100crushes/
Thanks @way_of_tea - some great stuff in there. Instant atmospherics!
So am I ok to use these in my music?
How did you make them?
Cool stuff. Anyone use any of them yet?
Thanks @way_of_tea - brilliant stuff -- very generous of you.
Thanks for these!
@solador78 You're more than welcome. Lots of interesting things (especially odd things) at freesound.
Have been going through the pack kindly shared by @way_of_tea and there's a lot of interesting noise there too (especially odd noise). I nominate @monzo to make something unnerving from this lot...
I hearby promise to make a long over indulgent drum and bass intro featuring the way_of_tea sounds heavily. They'll be great for that.
@Matt_Fletcher_2000 Well done that man....look forward to it. I may do something (short) involving a rhyme about misery (but only if I can get myself up for it
Way_of_tea + audiostretch = way_too_long_of_tea
@Matt_Fletcher_2000
Feel free to use how you like, would love to hear if you make something out of them!
Made with lots of processing and re-sampling. I used s-slayer from twisted tools quite a bit during this process. Glad you enjoyed them
