Freezes at startup, and when I touch the screen, it crashes.
iPad4, iOS 7.1.2
Thanks @fjcblanco, seems OK so far, here on Mini Retina 8.1.2.
Works fine on my Air 2 so far. Sounds quite good, too. Thanks for the link
It sounds lush when triggering midi chords from SoundPrism Pro into it and speaking random nonsense into the mic.
Thanks Mister B., anything involving speaking random nonsense into the mic works for me....
This is really weird.
Still crashing, even after reinstalling. One moment of inspiration, and trying it through Audiobus , it works.
Closing AB, it keeps working alone...
The mystery of computers....
....but anything that makes me sound like Hal ("Sorry, I can't do that Dave....") is brilliant as far as I'm concerned.
Thx for the info and crashes at the start here too ipad mini retina and ipad air both with 7.1.2
Works well here. Air 1/8uptodate.
I very much like how you can 'play' your phrase or line on the keyboard and it doesn't restart the sample, but just carries on. Thus allowing you easily to listen to/try out different possible melodies. I seem to remember others that did this, but tried Nanostudio and it restarts the sample each time you tap a new key. Any other ideas?
Sorry for those experiencing crashing, but a very interesting little app (if you can get it to work of course....)
Looks like I left it too late as it's no longer free, though sounds like it has 7x issues anyway.
Hello, developer here. Cheers for all the nice comments. About the crash it should work on iOS 7 I thought, but I have managed to corner myself somehow and I suddenly don't have a device running 7 anymore. And I think I read somewhere that apple isn't validating 7 installs anymore. I should give it a try though.
The apple crash report system is really bad too for small developers like me, because I can never get the volume of crashes to actually see any. It would be interesting to have a look at one though. I might look at including an internal crash report system in the next release. I have done that before so it shouldn't take too long.
Cheers guys.

Make it free again and I'll test it!
Again, a fan of @monzo speak.
I sent you a promo code.

Works fine in standalone mode Air 1 7.1.2 will test in AB soon
Thanks Erik, not working on my iPad in AB iOS 7.1, will test the iPad later
Excellent. Not good that it is not working but very good that it is reproducible. Cheers guys for testing. If any of you would like to test a beta at some point that would be great.
Thanks

@humbletune Thanks for coming by ERik, this is a playpen not the lion's den after all vBot is a fun app, although I hesitate to use the word fun because there is a 'toy' association with that word somehow and it feels like vBot is/can be more than that already. As with all things that are seductive because of their relative simplicity, within ten minutes of enjoying playing with it, I also wanted 'just this and maybe just that'. I won't make a list here, because, again, I think folks need to know it's great for what it is right now, but if you're intending to further develop the app this is a positive place to get very fair user feedback/market research if'n you want it
iPad 3 with iOS 7 here. Crashed initially stand alone and in AB. Closed it and went on to other project. Returned to Voice Bot in AB with Loopy as output.
As if by magic up and running. Nice vocoder when working. I'll take another crack at it today.
Worked when first loaded into AB on my iPad iOS 7.1.2, and recorded a loop which I then played back, but the input sound stopped when I tried recording a second loop.
Hmm, I feel I need to get my hands on an iOS 7 device now. Never assume anything in code writing, I guess I can learn from this. And cheers @JohnnyGoodyear, I don't mind the word toy, but then I like toys. I try to always be open to suggestions, a list here is fine or I have a support section on my website.
In the meantime if someone is up for sending me a crash report that would be really helpful. I am not sure how to actually do it manually. Will have a look and come back.
Cheers.

Aha, found it. My iPad is in Swedish so the translation might be a bit off but the crash reports can be found in settings -> privacy -> diagnostics and usage -> diagnostics and user data. I am happy to trade a report for a few promo codes for my other apps. Just pm or email me.
Sorry for this trouble.
Cheers.

It hasn't really crashed for me - it's either failed to load, or just stops processing incoming audio.
@humbletune the Voice Bot update is working for me in Audiobus 2.1.9 on an iPad 2 running iOS 7.1.2 running in the effects slot and Audioshare 2.7 plus SoundPrism Pro 2.7.3941in the input slot. If I run into crashes or other problems I'll send you the information.
@Paulinko Excellent cheers. I have submitted a version tonight with a function to send crash reports inside the app. Hopefully that can shed some light on what is happening.

I scooped it up, but haven't had time to dive into it yet. Any videos? I didn't find much on a yt search.
Stopped working on air 1 7 (stuck on splash) and gets stuck on load screen on 5s latest , greatest.
Hmmm, I am surprised there are so many crashes. The plumbing is the amazing audio engine so it should play nice with audiobus and stuff. Hopefully the new build will clear things up.
@MoonWolf I did intend to make a video but felt very conscious about my language and put it back on my todo list.

@humbletune A picture/1000 words etc, even if a few of the words are mangled. Go for it
