  • @Matt_Fletcher_2000, this was maybe an Apple funky stuff, because the 1.0.1 was still listed in our testflight account (now removed) but as you are not one of our beta tester, I didn't think you should have seen the sandbox thing. At least now we know :)

@Schimanski @Sinapsya, the sandbox issue should be fixed now as Matt has confirmed (no app update needed), so if you don't see all the packages, please do a restore purchases, then select the soundbank and click download.

  • @otristan Sorry, but the problem is still the same! The Restore/Refresh Button just disappears without doing anything.A workaround is to save a "fake project"

    • a copy of the default kit - which you can delete. As soon as you delete something,
the library refreshes and you see all your purchases + the ones in the store.Hope this helps?
  • @Schimanski, Ok, we will investigate this. Thanks for the report.

  • I don't have This problem on 1.0....Now, after update to 1.0.1 I don't see my purchased ...I Try to restare and nothing :( I do not see The Pack any where....I buy all minus The piano One....
My TestFlight is [email protected] - last ios 8

  • @Sinapsya, we agree you have an internet connection when checking this on the iPad ? inApps are not part of the app but downloaded afterward.

What kind of packages/instruments would you guys like to see being released ?

I dont know about anyone else but i would love to see a pack crammed full of classic sampled breaks ie: All the original ones from classic tracks such as.....

  • Just updated to 1.02 .....but looks as though when re-linking my samples the time-stretch and cropping data is still gone. Anyway looking hopeful that most if not all of the bugs are now fixed :)

  • For the price I paid, I really expected the Latin Percussion pack to contain drum loops, instead of just percussion sounds. I would like to see future expansion pack releases to include Jazz Fusion with fill loops. Not the usual jazz swing from yester year; but modern Jazz/Rock/Latin, with even some 6/8 time signatures.

@otristan, it would be really great when you get BeatHawk to the next level, to put all the expansion packs on sale... they are kind of pricy. I think we would all purchase more of them.

  • @bsantoro As indicated above I agree with you. The packs overall leave me with the feeling of either a bit too expensive or not quite enough content...

  • @Carnbot, the 1.0.2 fix that it won't happen again(now using relative path) but songs made in 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 with user samples will need to be relinked manually. Sorry about that.

If you guys really want/need to get your project back to work, you can send it to us by creating a support ticket, We will fix it manually. But there is not possibility to fix this project from beathawk and saving pad settings...

  • +1 for @DaveMagoo 's suggestion of classic breaks (if you are allowed to sell these?)... Or otherwise something similar.

Drum loops are ok (the funk ones being the most useful so far IMO) - but what would be nice is 'breaks' that feature a bit of bass and some other short instrument/vocals hits too. That makes them richer when it comes to slicing up and mangling etc...

It would also be nice to have a drum & bass pack. So: reece basses, subs, raspy patches, lots of FX, some nice pads, some nice keys and of course some nice drum and bass drum samples.

RustiK, Presets are indeed multi sampled instrument.

JohnnyGoodyear, for sure we don't mind selling packs especially given the app itself price which is quite a bargain, but hopefully we will prove that we want to please different kind of users.

Schimanski, it should be fixed in 1.0.2 that will be posted today. Hopefully Apple will review it quickly. Sorry about the inconvenience.

What kind of packages/instruments would you guys like to see being released ?

FWIW, we have released the guitar blues package mostly because the previous Guitar packages was one of the best selling IAP, so looks like some people wanted that :)

    Cheers,

PS: User manual is on its way. WIll be soon finished

Honestly, the ability to use other synth apps inside of Beathawk.
If not, then just higher end and tweakable synths and arp potential.

If Beathawk was to do this, I see Beat Hawk as a great replacement for Alchemy fans.

Alchemy was ideal because of the wise use of space and easy navigability -- the exact things Beat Hawk does. I do see B H as potential major part of my tools with these minor upgrades.

I purchased the Guitar, Disco, and 2 other packs and have liked all of them. The only complaint is a few more playable instruments in lieu of loops or 1 hits.

    Thanks!

I have a tune I would like to submit to UVI from Beat Hawk, where do I send it?

  • @BastienCo Thanks for the offer :) I might send the project files but I'll probably manage without. I'd already exported the track elements into a DAW for the songs in question so I'm ready to start a new Beathawk project now anyway.

A nice thing to be able to do in a future update would be a full-screen blow up of the sample to edit, trim and time-stretch for more precision...please add to the feature request list ;)
