I am not a musician or guitar player, but I can be sure there is no pitch change things or pitchy stuff on the time knobs! Pack 1 has 3 delay types, all sounding very good to my ears using internal instruments! All I can say in a layman language, they are top notch although there are not many choices! However, I have timeless2 of Auria plugin, It is very very difficult to use, and need lots of learning curves! Cubasis FX Delay is really a enjouable experience! hope this help!

Thanks @Kaikoo. I guess that means the answer is no. Too bad. The pitchy stuff is fun - I don't know how else to call it. If it's not clear what I'm talking about skip to 1:00 minute of this video.

If it's called a Tape Delay and it's an IAP I would expect it to behave like one. I know there's professional musicians who appreciate the fun pitchy stuff I've seen those Dorian Concept microKORG vids.

i picked up both packs. they are on sale and i figure if you are already buying into the steinberg/cubasis ecosystem its good to have access to them -- you will use them sooner or later plus the money goes towards updating and patching the Cubasis project (hopefully)

I got both effects packs and boy, am I glad I did!
The delays are so sweet! Tried it on some Sound Canvas and microlouge sounds and it was tasty

I really like Cubasis, it's very appealing and works well in many ways. However I feel they dropped the ball in a few areas, on some basic functionality and notably on MicroSonic and the FX.

Most of the FX are really pretty poor, though I realize that they might be what they are, in order to run well on lower end devices. FX 2 pack does nothing to improve on the quality of the built in FX (actually I find most of them worse, EG. the Wah is meh and the rotary speaker completely awful). For them to charge for this does not sit well with me at all.

Considering refund within 14 day period for FX pack 2.
