Oh, Well! I BET that you two will going to buy Attack!
Will be available at the beginning of June was the answer I got from Waldorf head honcho Stenzel today (along with some other tidbits, altho I did blaster him with puppy eyes pics so..):
"@5tenzel: Nice, in August I will enjoy fried dog in China. Attack Drums however will be available start of June. @Chris1a1"
Thank you, boss!
SILENCE GRASSROOTS!!, I'm doin my hair...
Man! I can't wait!
I'm seriously hoping this app will support (import and export) using AudioCopy/Paste or AudioShare and also include options to delete the imported samples.
At a glance it seems to have pretty similar feature set to 'Stroke Machine' but with a cleaner UI.
Needless to say when Nave is one of my favourite Synths on iOS Attack will be a good companion once it's released...
I think it's "only" a drum synthesiser.... No samples involved so far
@manuhz Attack can use samples too, just take a closer look at the screenshots... (The Sample button is not selected in the screenshots but it's there).
Oops sorry, my mistake. I can't remember such functionality from the original VST... Great news anyway....
The big question for me is does sync well with other apps.
Cant wait to see this
Looks awesome! I don't like the $30 price tag however.
Just noticing on my "I-can-stop-anytime" visit to the Waldorf website that Attack is now specified as "Shipping approx. first weeks of June 2015".
The "approx" and "weeks" (plural) is hard to read without wincing.
Pure lust.
$20
Educated guess Mister Kaikoo or insider trading?
Ouija tells us
@JohnnyGoodyear It's right there on the website.

I can't believe it's only going to be $19.99! I can't wait to use it.
Seems you can download a 9.7 MB zip of iPad images http://www.waldorf-music.info/ipad-attack-downloads
It's 'First Week of June' so Attack should hit the AppStore like very soon

"Shipping approx. first weeks of June 2015, price - 19,99 € / 19,99 $"
I'm looking forward to it, but I haven't heard much outside of the formant capabilities which are nice but won't get much use overhere.
If it's going to be anything like its VST counterpart, you can do full songs with it: bass lines, leads and all...
I hope it will come with some IDM, Glitch and analog kind drums
Demo song made me think.......never
The synthesis and effects engine in Attack seems to be pretty capable (not only for drum sounds) and not limited to using only samples and the UI looks clean and inviting enough for tweaking your own sounds and maybe adding a few custom samples...
I am pretty sure I am going for this after I recoup from the last spree of app shopping!
And here is another video of the vocoder and the whole thing together.
Interesting to see/hear how it compares to the text-to-voice functionality in Nave....
We've had two recent waves of pocket draining new releases it seems, one around the new year, and now this one.
I predict about June 19th in time for Father's Day.
I have a feeling that before the kids go back to school their college funds will be drained a fair pretty more
