Great for jamming
The Korg synckontrol app has ableton link now. So pretty much all the volcas can easily sync.

Thanks guys. Yes, I discovered SyncKontrol has Link now which is fantastic.
In the end I bought an PO12 (which can also be synced like this) instead of the Volca Beats because it was half the price. I'm relatively pleased with it (although the internal speaker has stopped working so I need to get it replaced on guarantee).
