Great point. I actually meant both, but mainly frequency analyser.
Excellent, Thanks! Just checked it and it is Precisely what I neeed.
Oh wow, I didn’t even know about MC Studio. It totally slipped under my radar. Thanks for bringing it up
Cheers for that
Can you read there precisely peaking frequency? For example 169Hz?
I’m after AUv3 over IAA/AB support. That’s what’s missing in my AUM/BM3 workflow. There is talk of the BM3 built in tools opening a frequency analyzer up which would be great. Using Audio Mastering IAA for now.
Thanks for reanimating this older thread. I've been looking for an oscilloscope app. The MC Audio app looks perfect for me, I'm going to test it later today. Currently it is IAA and AB friendly, I hope in the future it gets updated to support AUv3.
Not sure about Bark but with apeFilter you can highlight center frequencies.
Thanks, I look at it. All what I need is Voxengo AUv3 please!

I’m away from the iPad for a bit, but here are a couple of iPhone SE screen caps.
As you can (hopefully) see, it gives you ballpark figures on a grid.
So no, not really! I wouldn’t say it’s one for plugging numbers into. But if you’re shaping a sound, you do get a nice, reactive visualisation. It can be useful to see when you’re twiddling knobs in another AU window, for instance.
Thanks for the pics! I really appreciate it. But what I want is tunning Kick, Snare etc... so I need to see more precisely frequencies.
I’ve isolated a section in apeFilter and you can see the frequency under FC on the bottom left. Hope it helps.
Just to add, I love the amazing ape apps. apeFilter’s a powerful tool for sure. I was a bit distracted by the default samples and far out lfo business when I first fired it up, but it has the goods. UI can get a bit clunky if you crowd it, though (at least with these fingers).
My kingdom for Voxengo Span as an AU. Seriously though, why doesn’t this exist?
YES!!!

That’s the one I’ve been using too.
I also enjoy and recommend Bark Filter.
ApeFilter gets some usage too but it’s not as intuitive as the Bark.
