The arp is why I use Addictive Synth as much as I do, so it's great they've made this accessible to other synths. Wish it was a bit cheaper though.
I guess I'll watch a video or two first then perhaps, I love control apps how is this for rhythm?
Soon Doug? I know you guys want to!
I really wish crystal Xt could be controlled with this!
It is for alphabetical fast presets switch, if you are on 033 , then list will help you to 040 and so on....
I have tried soundprism pro and musix pro with it. So you can layer more synths with Arpeggist.
@Kaikoo I just wanted to let you know that I have taken more money out of the child's college fund jar to buy this app, but am certain that he will thank me for it later.
So cancelling your flight to Euro, you can help hundreds of children. We are the world!
Nothing would give me greater pleasure (and I do love Europe), but it's a vicious circle; if I don't go to Europe and be nice to all of the Europeans they won't give me the money that will let Mrs. Goodyear buy shoes and save the children etc. It is certainly a circular world in which we find ourselves living, but at least I've got rhythm (now).
I do wishing I can play Arpeggist to control the rhythm of Waldorf Attack iPad synth and record it straight within the Attack synth! What a great apps combination choice! Yesterday, I tried my new iVoxel to change the Borderlands pitch without success, spectral tone is not really clear, Later on found out Arppeggist. Really my type of necklace!
If you want it to, it should: The arp on Tera runs crystal XT...
Do not underestimate how much I value your enthusiasm!
From now on I am going to describe all things I like as my type of necklace!
I have Tera and will try it but step poly did not recognize it somehow I can't find a midi settings page in Crystal either.
Tera won't work either hmmmm. Something is wrong but what, like I said Crystal has no midi seeing a I am aware of other than turning background audio on in order for it to somehow see my keyboard controller.
Duh! Never mind, I just noticed I have both Crystal and Crystal Xt on my iPad but and I was trying to use midi in the non xt!
@Tritonman
Some good sleuthing, or ten minutes for a cold beverage or both. Your duh is good for me I'd never thought to upload free Crystal for that second instance - thanks Mr.
Some good fun in doubling a Tera patch with a Crystal one-
Carnbot thank you, your midiflow method works for Arpeggist. The destination send to Arpeggist not Gadget in the picture attached here!
@Kaikoo Great, glad it works for Arpeggist too![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I would hope that eventually there will be an update where Gadget has midi sync send, then the patch won't be necessary, but could be a long wait as usual with Korg....
@Kaikoo @Carnbot forgive me for using you as a manual, but how does one engage the 'chord' option?
Just one finger touch the key to play chord in Arpeggist, see picture and choose what chord you like to use, they are predefined.
Tempted by this one, I deserve a treat and it is nearly Friday night after all..
Thanks. Get it now. I misread/misunderstood the UI and thus must surely blame someone else for my fat-fingered fumblings![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Don't forget the left hand side rolling dice "key" setting to ALL for chord play, you need to set each column manually to all, the chord can be heard when you play, or roll the main dice and let it decided by randomizer to play a note or chord.
BTW, you can also set key to "key sync" to play chord, so each time you change a playing key when the key is on "all" for sequence, you can play polyphonic sound whatever the way wish it to sound.
@Kaikoo Good tippage there Sir. I appreciate you thinking of me (and Lord knows I need it![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I'm not yet an Arpeggist-ist, I'm tempted though by the chords feature....I feel like SPA has still lots to offer which I haven't yet explored
Personally I like the simplicity of this vs. some other arp/step sequencer apps. Just letting it run and randomly rolling the dice can be very inspirational.
Agreed. Sometimes also good life advice.
Anyone know if the 'MIDI in' allows external MIDI clock sync/start stop?
@iamspoon I got it to sync the clock to Logic Pro X using Midimux. It would not start or stop the arp from what I remember.
@jamspoon
I can use Cyclop, StepPolyArp and Soundprism to send midi note to start playing the Arpeggist. But I fail on Cubasis and Midiflow to control Arpeggist. Arpeggist can send internal clock out but I guess it is not receiveing clock to start and stop. So that means other apps can only send midi note in only ( in regard to MIdi-In feature ).
