Fair enough!
Very interesting. Sounds to me like Eno/Frip from the 70's. I take it you are a fan. I don't think you should combine them. They both sound like they deserve to be explored on their own.

Thanks, that’s very high praise indeed.
@u0421793 played these when you posted but couldn't get a hook in to them. So I came back today and had another listen and found them easier on the ear. The first one is a harsher listen but eventually settled into a nice groove. The second one I felt was easier to enjoy the first time round but they both seemed a bit like Action Movies; big effects with little story progression. Don't take that too harshly though as they are interesting pieces.
Oh and I wish you had posted these in the Song of the Month thread. It's a great forum for discussing this song writing, production stuff and might get missed in this thread.
They’re not songs yet, they’re just noodling in gadget, which I’m not used to yet. When it becomes a song, I will (unless I’ve had a few beers, and post any old crap at any arbitrary stage of development that happens to impress me). For now, though, I've got to get the hang of gadget. I wish gadget had a sing synthesiser (like a speech synth, but for singing with). I’ve got Midi-TTS https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/midi-tts/id825663925?mt=8 and occasionally experiment with that too.
Darwin is my new favourite, edit sounds in im1, although at first I was saving things to the 4 user banks and wondering why they weren't showing up. I hoping korg does a new gadget called hull, that is just for audiofiles of any length, great editing and fx's and maybe a musical compressor with a side chain option.
I like the first one best - are all those crazy sounds done in Gadget? I really need to play with that one more.
Crazy sounds? Done in Gadget? Need to have a listen.
Fair enough, I will just shut up and say that I enjoyed them then.
Never found one that was anywhere near useful. Although I wouldn't say no to an iPad version of Yamaha's Vocaloid apps!
Move to Japan. There's a vocaloid app on the jap App Store. Mind you it probably only sings in Japanese.
Vocaloid also have quite large databases so maybe one for iPad helium 2
They introduced a guitar stomp box vocaloid recently. There's a very funny and silly review of it on YouTube.
Yep, it’s 100% gadget (apart from preparing the voice sample, that was in Audacity on the Mac then sent over). Here’s the files: https://app.box.com/s/t5821681djnatgt301sdrmygrubc9jbr if anyone wants to have a look. It’s all very rudimentary, I know very little about gadget as yet. I spent a long time rebelling against it. Now I rebel at it. Hopefully soon I’ll get to the stage where I rebel with it.
Cool!
Look forward to your rebelling with gadget results!

Dublin just edges Phoenix for me. A Phoenix unison bass is difficult to beat though!
I like to use Chiang mai for the lovely stereo delay. WHY are all of the other gadgets delay fx mono?... whinge
