Drambo, and you can off course route the aftertouch to control anything. (I use Drambo as sound engine for my Linnstrument.)
Does poly AT work for you in Drambo? Do you maybe have a beta? I know the AT module has a polyphonic option, but I tried it a while ago and it had no effect. Seemed like the poly AT messages were simply ignored. Channel AT works fine.
Of course, Drambo supports MPE, buts that's a different way of reaching the same goal. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.
The Poly AT module needs an overhaul to be useful. It's on the list.
For now, you'll have to use Mozaic or Streambyter as an AUv3 MIDI processor to translate Poly AT into messages that Drambo can understand, like CC values on specific MIDI channels for example.
Yes, and link those MIDI channels to specific Drambo voice numbers, I suppose, to actually simulate poly AT. This could get interesting.
Yes, you are right, I have it set to MPE. (It had escaped my mind that poly AT only using one midi channel, so it is another thing.)
This could be new thread. Digging up a 6 year old Zombie just hides your request behind 2 pages of dead details. We need to stop doing this. It doesn't save space or create a more logical organization of the database.
Why a new thread? All the useful info from this thread would be lost, no matter how old.
I'm actually happy to see people first do a search before creating new threads.
I don't think that we should stop doing this.
I always look at the date of a thread that intrigues me. If it’s old, I skip to the end and see what the new question is about. Like this thread here. I’m glad it got bumped, it was helpful to me. After I looked at the recent post and couldn’t help, I went back to the beginning and read the thread. I recently got Velocity Keyboard and have been wondering the same thing about Poly AT iOS synths.
When I google search this forum for old info, it’s already too spread out between a ton of threads. It’s much easier when there is a main thread. I can bookmark one link to refer back to instead of 20. In many forums elsewhere, moderators will merge your new thread into the existing thread anyway. It’s very normal for forums.
