Each human has a dark and a light side.... maybe some a dark and a even darker one
Ha, ha... best post on this thread... Can I get that on a T-shirt?
I must admit to having stopped buying music and just spending £10 a month on Spotify - for the last couple of years. I mean it just makes a lot more sense for someone like me who consumes a lot of music a year but has no real desire to "own" it or "have something physical"... Everything is digital i'm afraid. I'm not saying this is morally right... I'm just being honest about what I do.
I do, however, go to see live music quite a lot and I understand that that's how most musicians can make their money these days.
I think it's all just a game. Apple and the Swift are hunky-dory, probably sharing a drink like WWE opponents after a match. Orchestrated or worked out, everyone walks away richer than before the big smackdown.
Yeah, what to hope for, when even artists oftentimes do not respect each others work, videographers expect the music for their videos to be free, musicians using imagery for their music videos expect it to be free too, and so on.
The thing of it is that codswallop is such a common part of my vernacular that this is the first time I've ever stopped for a second and thought, wha...?, What is a cod's wallop? No idea....
Cods-wallop - slugs and snails (not) and fish entrails.
