Astonishing headphones super cheap

Hey

My friends at Pump Audio are selling 200 sets of these amazing headphones at 2/3 off because the Bluetooth feature distorts the bass, but they work great with the cable

I'm in the process of reviewing their in ear headset and it's amazing. Far better than Beats or Seinheiser actually.

You got to go here fast before they sell out. http://pump-audio.com/what-shall-we-do/?inf_contact_key=1a3d404287651beb0c02acf0263c8ec826c75c5ab1599176b683a9ac549fd5ee

I promise u, these headphones are made by bass heads for bass heads..proper quality, packaging, design and excellent customer service..

  • Better than Beats? No way. (try saying that with a straight face)

  • It's one of those things were u have to find out for yourself

I have pioneer in ear that sound better than beats- more overall balance..

There is a certain power with beats but that power is more clearly felt with Pump..

Bear in mind one vital factor- beats were developed in usa by dre and co, who are more attuned to hip hop and rnb, and pump are developed in co ordination with many UK dnb people.

Dnb is by far a more intense genre, demanding a lot more from speakers, sound systems and of course headphones..

They worked really really to create something that truly projects an accurate sound.

For the record, I'm not on commission or anything, they just mates, affiliates and I respect and know several of their connections.

Far better to support independant developers than egoistic billionaires imho

  • I think it is a common knowledge that beatz suck rabbits balls so 'better than beatz' is no commendation at all. Sorry just explaining the joke I think I got.

  • Yeah, I forgot to use my sarcasm font.

I just wanted to say that many of us here aren't looking for hyped frequencies, but rather a flat response for use in mixing. DJ's probably love Beats since they have a low end bump, but I tried the three most expensive sets at Best Buy and laughed. I laughed loud enough for everyone around me to hear. $400? It's like Monster cable all over again. Beats should only be used by consumers with too much money. Never by actual musicians.

Mrs Monzo would hyperventilate from laughing if she saw me wearing those.

  • I'm just posting aVERY good deal for some amazing headphones is all. Cause I know all us here need headphones right?

As far as the better than beats thing, it's a marketing stunt that has worked in their favour. I don't see it as a joking matter..

Up to the individual if they buy or not, myself and many others can vouch for the quality , especially if your music is bass heavy:)

  • Only 100 for a brand i never heard before.Must be my lucky day.

  • Packin' these your sure to be a mover!

Unfortunately, Beats headphones aren't a great comparison to use, being the opposite of the flat response reference characteristics that most musicians want in a pair of phones.

These look very nice, as do the Beats themselves.

  • Yeah, sorry for being nice and alerting people to a good deal lol.

Maybe read the reviews by the top DJs and producers first eh?

Sorry, responding to good will with sarcasm is really low class..

  • What's your connection to your friends selling the headphones?

We do appreciate these kinds of alert, but none of the fun is being had at your expense. Sorry if it came on as that. As for reviews from "top DJ and Producers" most of us no longer view these as honest or accurate. They said the same about Beats back then, and even now "top DJ's and Producers" all say they are shit. At least the ones who aren't receiving $$$ will say that.

Now @syrupcore is implying that you are associated with the sale and might benefit from said sales is exactly what went through my mind too. I also noticed there's yet a second thread for the same product here. Why? Just seems forced.

  • For the record, I'm not implying anything. I'm asking.

  • edited July 2015

"Astonishing" - typical click bait title.

Regarding Beats... "it turns out that the premium headphones that would have cost you $200 actually has components that cost a total of $18"

    http://www.techspot.com/news/61060-200-beats-headphones-actually-cost-18-make.html

Hardly doubt the seller is losing money on this lot, and if they are then poor part and manufacture sourcing on their part.

  • I'm often guilty of ignoring the forum Categories when I create a thread myself, but this thread, and the other about this product would probably have been better in the 'Market Place' section.

I don't need any headphones right now, but I had a look at the company. Seems genuine enough. Didn't spot much specific info about this product, but they're clearly a niche company still finding their feet. Must be gutting for them to discover a fault in their new product, but it's good that they're seeming to be open about discussing it with their potential customers and attempting to come to some sort of a solution. Anyway, back to the apps!

  • Noooo, not getting thing out of this personally. The company is associated with many drum and bass names in the UK, a couple of them are mates. They are good people.

I found out about these headphones via missrepresent/silent code as she did an extensive review in her blog .

I've been talking with the company and they are sincere, I'm reviewing the in ear buds asap for my own blog and they sent me a pair. And I suspect those that endorse only received a free set too, no cash. It's a small company with high goals.

The ONLY reason I posted about this is cause I know from using these things that they ARE very good and that people on the AUDIOBUS forum love a bargain...and I'm helping promote cause I believe in the products.

Think...these Zeus are on sale at 2/3 off, it's a crazy reduction..what kind of commission would I get on such a vastly reduced price?

I also saw another thread about headphones here and that gave me the impetus

All I know is that headphones are vital to ios musicians for obvious reasons and I'm just helping out.

    That is all!

  • I'll happily delete the other thread I started on this seeing as some took issue with that, but I cannot see how to do so in the settings..

But I noticed this thread has 512 views so it has provoked interest

If I see anything of interest, I will share it if it links somehow to iOS music..

  • Not great reviews on KS I did look into them as the price seems good but they seem fraught with faults https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2093197915/pump-omg/comments
