Only bought my iPad Air 2 a couple of months back (my first iPad). The wife would kill me if I bought another one so soon!
I got to say though, after the cable fest of my old home studio (now sold), the thought of a multi iPad studio is enticing.
Just think, my whole studio (except monitors) in one bag!
That's why I want one so much - the studio in a bag concept is my thing in a big way...
It's how I have the space and time to make music: 1 ipad, a cigarette pack size audio interface and 1 pair of monitor headphones... I can create anywhere and anytime
So taking it to the next level with a significantly better iPad would be like adding a turbo boost...
@Simon_Acetone - Me too, I'm having way more fun with music now I'm not tied to my old studio with all those cables, noisy fans and racks of gear.
Record on holiday, while I'm fishing or even in bed when the wife lets me lol
