Has anyone seen the step sequencer page of FLM3?
(The lack of ability to switch the step grid to triplets on the current FLmobile has dealbroken the app for me)
I believe that FL Studio on iPad is basically a rebranded Music Studio, I wonder if with FL3 they are producing their own app?
Yes they are
Complete re write
Maxx Claster is the lead dev & he's made some of their best VST synths
Image Line's economic model requires expansion into new markets 'OSX and iOS' - Bring it all on I say - FL, Plugin's and all.
FL2.5 iCloud-Drive implementation (ie. IOS8-FilePicker) for import/Export is working very nicely for import from and export to AudioShare
From what I've read about the forthcoming FL3 it will be very interesting to see how it will perform and how smoothly the editors will work. It's a complete rewrite with new instruments and samplers and will be a free update to existing users...(I have way too many apps already, include this).

"There is a new Step-sequencer sampler instrument, a multi-sample player instrument, synthesizer plugins (such as MiniSynth), and multiple effects plugins. You can choose to use any or all of these on each Playlist track."
Who knows, we have so many interesting apps in development and FL3 is definitely one to keep an eye on...
Man ios is becoming an insanely good platform for music making. Nanostudio2, fl3, bm3, auria2, audiobus remote etc...
Bring on the iPad Pro.

Darn thing is begging for Ableton Link...
Not really. Same company, but a different development team. FL Studio on the desktop is almost completely the brainchild of Didier "gol" Dambrin. They've grown and he's no longer the sole developer, but he was for years.
FL Studio Mobile 3 is by a different team of developers, including Maxx Caster, who developed several plugins and side projects for Imageline, including GrooveMachine. Another gentleman, "Scott" (don't know his full name) is also very much involved. Gol, to my knowledge is not involved at all with FLSM3.
The original FL Studio Mobile, was developed as MusicStudio by Xewton, and simply adapted with ImageLine's branding and signature step sequencer. Imagine eventually decided to start from scratch to develop their own multi-platform mobile app, which is now FL Studio Mobile 3.
