    Huge thanks Mr Sebastian !

  • Can you convince me that I absolutely need remote?

Now since Link is here and AB has an on/off button what more does it benefit from?
I know there is a handful of apps, but beyond that?

    Thanks

We think it's pretty darn useful but I don't know what would convince you. Probably best to wait for some blogs and reviewers to tell you what they think about it. I'm way too biased. :)

EDIT: Ah, look here's one already: http://www.musicappblog.com/audiobus-update-18/

  • Sweet. Been waiting for this. Thank you @Sebastian

  • I was gonna ask if there was a list of apps with remote enhancements and then remembered there's a whole built-in list technology inside AB already. So thanks for making that, as well.

Well you're the best person to ask since it's your app...but I am convinced :)

Please note that every Audiobus compatible app is compatible with Audiobus. The special list option is just for extra Audiobus Remote triggers that developers can implement which only show up in Audiobus remote and not in the Connection Panel.

So... yeah, everything will work with AB Remote, just some apps have even more options.

  • This is really going to help my jamming workflow :)

  • wow, nicely done audiobus team. this looks very usefull and a good reason to turn on multi tasking

That AB remote play button becomes so important with Link. I know the original vision for Link was to allow for independence from a main controlling device, but from a practical perspective, if there could be one device that has the ability to start/stop the big jam session across multiple devices, I think most in the community would embrace it.

We can probably do this with Audiobus, at least for iOS devices.

  • @Sebastian
    Thank you! Fantastic news.

  • Just picked this up, nicely done! Didn't have use for it as a "true" remote, but now that it can be used on the same device I see it's value. B)

  • Just to say THANKS, because I really start to play with the Ipad Pro + AudioBus + AudioRemote, with Links always in sync now, and it's just a pleasure to start a song...

Anyone know if there are any free premade Patterning loops like 8bt or 16bt styles? I'm having a hard time programming them as I wish I had some pads to do them.

  • Audiobus remote as a standalone without audiobus running would be very practical. Some apps have both iaa and audiobus but only connect to some other apps throught iaa. In those case, opening them in audiobus just to make possible their control through remote while their output is already used by iaa break the ongoing audio connection.
