If they can still d/l youtube from Anytune, that means they haven't updated in quite a while, Anytune hasn't had that capability in a while. It used to be possible in older versions.

cough that's why Beat Time! is on my list cough ;)

  • I only regularly use ten right now:

    Gadget
    Nave
    Animoog
    Mitosynth
    Modular
    Soundscaper
    idensity
    csspectral
    Hokusai
    and AB

  • Cubasis
    SM Player
    Fm4
    TC 11
    Egoist
    DM1
    Gadget
    Animoog
    Seekbeats
    Thor

...all this still does get dumped to a PC daw in the end... If i had to stay just on the ipad... Hmmm no idea...

Cubasis may get bumped by Auria if the new pro version has good midi and does not consistently kill the sound output on my project files like the last one, rant rant other story... man i loved Auria for editing but the project corruption i got was too much on the third day i had to get a refund... More rant rant sry...

I am also assuming once Attack has good midi it will make it on the list.

May I suggest seekBeats for hours of fun.. Here's my 10, in no particular order

    1-SeekBeats

    2-Sunvox

    3-Rebirth

    4-WaveGenerator

    5-Magellan

    6-iFretlessBass

    7-Cubasis

    8-TwistedWave

    9-Turnado

    10a-AudioMastering

    10b-AudioBus

  • If i only had 10 music apps.... then would my life ends ;)

    Today i would choose:

    1. ThumbJam

    2. Alchemy

    3. Mitosynth

    4. BeatMaker 2

    5. NanoStudio

    6. AUFX:Space

    7. AudioReverb

    8. AudioMastering

    9. Sunrizer

    10. Animoog

...... so not possible.... i would miss isem and all the virsyn synths etc.

In reality i mostly use on my iPad and iPhone just ThumbJam, Mitosynth and Animoog since there is nothing like this to find on my notebook. I also need AudioShare to share audio between devices via Airdrop and sometimes apps like Music I/O.

No, I have all of those and they are great. Although Seek Beats makes the best noises IMO. But I just meant that in my list I haven't included a drum synth. In my imaginary game I'd have to use drum samples or just Tokyo.

    1. Audioshare
    2. Audiobus
    3. Gadget
    4. Samplr
    5. SECTOR
    6. SeekBeats

Oops didn't realize my first post went thru

  • Not going to cheat with Auria.

    1. NanoStudio
    2. Loopy
    3. iSem
    4. Thumbjam
    5. Aufx:space
    6. Echo Pad (or Aufx:delay)
    7. Audiobus
    8. AudioShare
    9. Diode108
    10. JamUp

    I think.

  • I'll cheat one app 'the AppStore', then I'd download Thumjam, Gadget, ...........

  • If this were for android, it would be a lot harder (to even get up to ten, for a start).

  • edited July 2015

    ISem + Sunrizer for synths

    Turnado for live effects

    Loopy for live looping

    Samplr for Sampling

    Gadget for composing

    Bm2 for recording

Garage Band for quick audio + midi ideas

    NeoSoul Keys for electric piano

    Audioshare for management

Edit. Currently using ToneStack for guitar sim/fx but Amplitube ain't bad either.

Ah yeah, and Animoog. There's just too many classics out there!

  • Preferences and desires change like early-stage girlfriends. At this point in my puberty:

    Auria

    Egoist

    FLUX

    Thor

    NeoSoul Keys

    iFretless bass

    Module

    Gadget

    AudioShare

    Twisted Wave

These are the apps that turn me on. There are others that are gorgeous, no doubt, but feel out of my league at this point, and a whole number I still text drunk, am fond of, and will always love for their moments of teenage dexterity.
