Hey Just curious.
I really like vowel and formant synthsis but what is the difference if any?
I think that I have come across term “vowel” when it is an oscillator and formant when it is a filter. Is this correct? And what can be achieved choosing between the two?
WOW Filter from Sugar Bytes
Wolfgang apps if still available
There are several other.
As a whole sugar bytes has quite a deep and precise Fx situation with filters and related things.
Thanks @RUST( i )K for your reply😊. However the question was more on the difference between vowel and formant on a more theoretical level.
I do have severel apps that can do this.
But with Lagrange i find vowel among the waveforms and this is also the case with miRack’s “ macro Oscillator”. With Sunrizer on the other hand I find the formant among the filters. Also EG formante seems to work as a filter.
But thanks again i’ll tjeck out SB 😊
I never understood why that “you have to tune your kick drum” ever became a thing in the first place.
If for some reason it sounds out of tune (very unlikely), do something to fix it, but if not, don’t ask someone else’s opinion on whether it needs to be tuned - just leave it as it is.
Is it possible to easily transfer an AUM session from one iDevice to another, and if so, how?
Go to Files from the hamburger menu. Find the saved session file and long press it. Airdrop to the other device.
Stupid question:
Is the gain knob turned 1/2 way up or 1/2 way down?
Half way up if it’s controlling an amplifier; half way down if it’s controlling an attenuators.
Sweet!
Thanks, @wim!
Yet another stupid question.
When using Web Audio Player in AUM, the version on my phone moves the most recently selected station to the top of the list, while the stations I select on my pad stay locked in their same order.
Is there a way to make the pad move the most recent station to the top — like it is on my phone?
