Make the best track using SynthMaster Player iOS and win an XKEY + FULL SynthMaster Player iOS bundle!

Terms and conditions:
The track must be made mostly with Synthmaster Player for iOS. External effects and drums are allowed.
The user must own a pro upgrade license.
The names of the banks and presets used must be submitted with the track.
There is no limit on the music genre.
The track must be at least 2 minutes long.
The track should be an mp3 file.
The track must be emailed to us before 7th of September 2015 to the address [email protected]
KV331 Audio will have the rights to stream to the public.

The tracks will be uploaded to our soundcloud page on 7th of September 2015 and the entries will be promoted through our facebook page till 14th of September. During this period there will be public and private jury voting. For public voting results, the songs will be ranked from 1 to 10 by the number of likes they get on soundcloud. Private jury will give a rank to the songs from 1 to 10 as well and these points will sum up to get the final results.

The winner will be announced on 15th of September 2015.

The prize is XKey keyboard (25 keys, USB) and Synthmaster Player for iOS FULL bundle.
The winner track will be promoted through our facebook page, youtube and soundcloud channels.

The entries can be invited to take place in special events such as NAMM and MusikMesse.

In your email please don't forget your name and registration email address for the pro upgrade.

Applicants who send their music files to KV331 Audio by email automatically agree to accept these terms and conditions.

Please reconsider the public voting option - it's never fair and it just means that the people with the most reach on Facebook or Soundcloud get the most votes. I think a private jury is the fairest way - no vested interest, only the music counts for them.

we have both, public voting and private jury. Some people can find the jury biased too, so we decided to add up the points for both

Public voting always gets gamed though, with people urging their friends and online connections to vote for them regardless of the quality of their tracks. Personally I simply will not enter competitions with public voting.

Sure juries may have a certain bias in taste, but so does everyone. Juries though can be relied upon not to vote for their friends, but for the music they like.

The whole point of the contest though is to go for reach and promote the product so a public voting aspect makes total sense and should be expected. it is a business and i dig the product and dont want it to get abandoned so i hope it gets circulated.

We will be promoting the tracks equally with facebook ads, and so we expect fair votes from the public, but nothing is guaranteed unfortunately

I agree with @richardyot about people stacking the deck by using social media. You do however, get free publicity because the contest will be advertised and if someone likes your track there's a good chance they will check out your soundcloud page. But Richard's right about using social media.

contests are good places to show your work, and we will promote those works as much as we can.

Winning the prize is not that much important It's more important to contribute with good work and catch our eye

What is a pro upgrade license? I only have the iOS synthmaster player.

I think the guys over at Wavemachine labs (Auria) know all too well how good the voting system works. They had some company doing something with the voting for the "What the something do you do with Auria contest", to make sure it was done fairly, and accurately. They found out, that even with a watchdog company, it still was not "fair" or accurate.

But, such as life.

Please check the factory sets demo songs, it's really possible to make cool tracks even with the factory presets

The top 3 winners in this competition will receive the following prizes from us:

2nd place: All of our 28 preset banks
3rd place: 14 preset banks of your choice

This is only site I participate on

I don't even have a Facebook account.

Plus, we all know about corruption on public voting. How many times do you see people cross promoting for votes or likes.

I think that Synthmaster staff and officials should make the call.

I was already entering this contest, but now...its sweet to know there's a prize just for entering. Pretty good incentive for those that may have been on the fence with this.

I started working on one this morning. I was cleaning up some apps I don't use and deleted one next to synthmaster. I opened it just because, found a fun sound and remembered this competition. Why not? No social media use by me, but it's a good kick in the pants to explore synthmaster since I haven't done much with it.

Pretty much my logic too.

I've been sampling all sorts of different synth master patches.

My workflow is going to be:

• sample lots of phrases and sounds (apart from drums) from synthmaster patches

• bring those samples into Bilbao in Gadget

• arrange the track, mash a few things up with the controls and effects in Bilbao

• add a drum track

• all into Auria for mixing and a few more effects

I assume that's all within the rules @lbiyikoglu?

How about non synthmaster vocal samples? Can I use some in my track?

I've been working on my song this morning. I have never recorded a track piece by piece into auria and arranged it there, so I'm glad for the new experience.
